We stayed for two nights in this lovely comfortable farm house. Our rooms were excellent, very clean and well presented with lovely ensuite bathrooms including a sauna which was available for use. Both rooms had well stocked tea and coffee facilities. Breakfast on both mornings was excellent with plentiful choice including a cooked breakfast on request. The farmhouse has lovely views of the area and has easy access to the countryside for walks outside the front door, and was ten minutes’ drive to all of the attractions of Hebden Bridge. The owner is a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome. Would definitely go back without hesitation!

Lovely place to stay, great views and friendly host

Far Moorside BnB was lovely to stay at. We travelled to yorkshire for a one night stay with our 3 month old baby. The owner (Susan) phoned us ahead of time to make saure we were OK getting to the farm and to say she didn't have a crib - this was fine as we had a travel cot anyway but was a nice touch just in case we assumed she had something for him to sleep in. 
The farm itself is in a lovely location - far enough away from the town to feel you are in 'the wilderness' but still only 5 miles away. (Maybe I only felt like I was in the wilderness as I'm from busy London!!). The views from the room we stayed in are absolutely gorgeous and provided us with a morning wake up from the local cockerel and rolling hills for miles. 
Breakfast was VETY accomodating for two people that don't eat meat - I still left with a full belly. I felt like I was pregnant again from the hearty home cooked meal that Susan provided. She also had some very friendly dogs and cats that took an interest in us and added to the 'farm feel'. We will definitely be staying again this summer!

Gorgeous Hebden Bridge

We were visiting an elderly relative in Cragg Vale and needed to find somewhere to stay.  This was a great place to stay and very comfortable.  The owner Susan was very friendly and helpful.  All the rooms were lovelly and warm and clean.  Their was a choice for breakfast.  Great views out of the bedroom window. At night it was very quite. The only drawback was the approach track which is full of many large potholes. Although there was a TV in the guest lounge, we missed a TV in the bedroom.

A nice place to stay

A very friendly place out in a beautiful setting. The rooms was fine, although the shower had a mind of its own and you easily hear other guests. Breakfast was excellent. Do note that there are pets in the house and that the place is off in the countryside when you plan your trip.

Beautiful location, friendly host

Lovely place, idyllic location, but the proprietor Susan somehow caused me concern. She was confused as to the dates we were stopping and the number in our party. The door lock in our room jammed shut at one point. I couldn’t see any fire safety / smoke alarm in our room which I would expect in this day and age. The carpet was some kind of matting which hurt our feet to walk on. The bed was musty with sewn together repairs on the sheets. Breakfast was terrible. I’m a big lad and I like my food, but I stuck to toast. It’s a shame because it’s a lovely farmhouse in a beautiful location. I normally sleep like a log...... but I kept one eye open that night ! 

There’s something wrong here ! 

So, thanks!!!  Booked a hotel in a middle of September, two months before the wedding we attending in Hebden Bridge.  Having to drive 5 hours from London for a friend’s wedding (one way)  to such a remote location, you had to cancel our stay just two weeks prior! What a horrible hotel! Don't recommend it to anyone, unless you wanna be left without place to stay two weeks prior.   Now I have to look for a new place urgently.  What an utterly, disappointing experience! Do not recommend to anyone

The hotel cancelled us just  two weeks before stay!!

As can be seen by the photos of the kitchen taken by myself when I stayed there. It was more than filthy. It was totally apauling. The proprietor SUSAN EVANS had cleanliness issues herself. She took me to so the animals, touched them then went right back in to her kitchen to cook. She didn’t wash her hands and her nails were filthy. She made a salad and I didn’t eat it. She had rotting food in the fridge. She left a note asking me to feed the cat on the table. I took a copy of it. I have 70 plus photos of the condition of the kitchen. 
The bed rooms had not long been updated and furnished so those rooms were acceptable. 
Ms SUSAN EVANS asked me if I would clean the kitchen for a fee of £10 hr. I accepted the daunting task that took me many many hours and days. Unfortunately SUSAN EVANS decided she wasn’t going to pay me after all because I hadn’t signed a contract agreement. That meant that I had no way to claim monies in a court of law.
When I was unpacking in the bedroom Ms Evan handed me two toilet rolls for the duration of my stay of two weeks and told me that they should last if I didn’t  use them to clean my makeup off. 
I spent two weeks looking after her home, her animals and her business answering phones etc THIS I DID AS A FREE HOME AND PET SITTING SERVICE.
