The BEST THANKYOU FOR EVERYTHING 

Stayed here for 3 nights on trip with Alfa travel room was ok,like most hotels could do  with lick of paint,bed was comfy slept well,ideal spot on the front,the staff were very good,especially jenny on reception she went above and beyond nothing too much trouble ,food was decent,all in all would definitely cone. Ack only got longer keep up  by the good work

Nice hotel great staff

Lovely hotel and staff can’t do enough for you. Food hot and varied. Bedroom was chilly so extra radiator supplied and we were fine. Very close to the town centre and buses, and cinema close by. Beach is very handy if you visit in the summer. Entertainment very good but unfortunately bingo was on after the entertainment which was a no n9 for me personally! 

I’d go again but in the summer

The twin room was small and both beds were pushed up against the walls leaving only a small gap in the middle to access the beds.
The food was poor and there seemed to be a shortage of staff as dirty cups were left in the lounge from the afternoon until the evening. 
The beds were hard and the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable . I asked for scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast and it was a case of hunt the scrambled eggs . I did complain and some more was given to me . Not an enjoyable stay and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Unpleasant stay at the New Beach Hotel Great Yarmouth 

Although the hotel says it’s recently had a refurbishment. Well I wouldn’t have said that. Hotel very tired. 
Manager very uncooperative as were a lot of the other staff. The only staff member that was pleasant was the young  girl who served our meals. The meals also very unpleasant and tasteless 
We. We’re there on a coach tour who own the hotel. I would recommend them either 

Not pleasant

Had a good 5 day break . Our room was clean, nice and warm and well serviced . The food was good especially the breakfast and the service excellent. Our waiters Raif & Joe couldn’t do enough to help us . Also our driver Calum was excellent all assets to the company. Thank you Alfa .

Good value for money

Group of nine self drive. Room adequate small towels no shower gel  food ok but not best quality. Was a fancy dress night on New Years day night, only 2 people dressed up that was me and 1 other from my group, no mention of the fancy dress by the entertainment people at all very disapointed. Closing on the day we left for a month think they just went through the motions. 2 waiters we had at mealtimes were good.

New years eve trip

We were very anxious about this trip with our coach party due to reviews, however all was just ok. Our room was fine., clean and tidy.  Bathroom was clean and shower was fine. The only thing was that towels need to be a bit bigger. Meals were all ok and we could ask for changes to the menu if it was available. All in all the staff were just brilliant and I must mention our waiter Brogan as being so professional and welcoming. Just give this hotel a chance. It is worth it. Not 5 star bu what do you want for the price? Well done to all the staff.

This hostel is actually very good.
Room very good, clean & comfortable with excellent shower.
Evening meal was standard hotel fare, nothing exciting for evening meal but reliable and tasty. Three courses too.
Breakfast excellent - great choice, great standard.
Lovely, friendly staff - everyone, without exception.



Very good hotel in Great Yarmouth

Arrived at 4pm on Halloween after a 7am start from Merseyside travelling with a private group, welcomed by the day manager and the lads took all our bags to our rooms. Evening meal scheduled for 6pm, so nipped into the Prom Pub for some relaxing drinks. No pre-ordered food, but it was hot, varied and plentiful. After dinner the more adventurous members of the group donned their fancy dress outfits much to the disgust of the grumps and also to the delight of the majority and bar staff. Maybe dressing as the Grim Reaper wasn't the greatest of ideas in a hotel of geriatrics!
I digress, up for breakfast which was lovely with fresh coffee on tap, along with efficient service from the breakfast team, you want to vary your food, no problem. And if you ask politely remembering your manners by adding thank you, the staff who are human beings respond accordingly. If you're rude, they still smile and act professionally, much to my angst, but I'm not responsible for obnoxious patrons, I hasten to add, not part of the Merseyside coach.

The hotel is right on the front, overall it was spotless. The rooms are a little dated. But serve a purpose, to store your clobber and get a sleep n a shower. Rooms very warm, didn't need any heating on at all, window open from arrival. Shower was ace, hot n powerful. Would've been nice to have a bath for a soak but not a major issue.
Food everyday catered for al diets with vegan and veggie options, pre ordered at breakfast for your enjoyment.
Entertainment, no idea what this was like, as prefer to find local real pubs, of which there are plenty. I know there was bingo, but not being 90 plus, it held no interest for me n friends.

Would I go back, yes I probs would. Great value for money. If you're reading this remember the golden rule, treat others like you want to be treated and you can't go wrong.
