Great location, walking distance to University and shops. Is a little tired and in need of redecoration. Heating was faulty. Room view was of portacabins. Staff were great. Food in Beefeater next door is excellent. 

Great location

Stayed 1 night to celebrate my Mums 85th Birthday. This was our 5th visit . The best premier inn . Staff so friendly and location perfect .We had meal deal in beefeater restaurant next door could not fault it. Look forward to our next visit.

Excellent

I usually use premier inn because you know what you are getting. Allegedly. 
This is the second poor review I ever put in for a premier inn since last year. The one in dundee is the one I was at recently so that’s the one I will speak about. 
The room was ok and we were overlooking the car park which is ok as we were only there for 1 night. For a couple there was only one bath towel and one small towel. I do like sharing but certainly not towels. Anyway. If that wasn’t bad enough when I went to bed the sheet was very creased. Not a problem you would think but when you are lying on a sheet like that it’s very uncomfortable. It’s like lying on dry toast ! Not that I e ever done that but that’s what it feels like. Because I was I’m jammies and it was late on I didn’t go down to complain however even though I tried very hard I couldn’t sleep on the sheet . So after a sleepless night I went to check out and spoke to the man on the desk and told him about the uncomfortable night I’d spent and he just looked and said I will let them know. !!! No apologies no nothing. He took the keycard write down the room number and went about his business. I take it he didn’t know what to do or say or ? I’ve no idea but guess I will go to sleepers across the road next time.
Top tip : check k your linen and if there are deep creases in your sheet get it changed or you won’t get any sleep !

Slipping away

We were really thrilled to arrive at the hotel and found out we have a room with a river-view. Dundee has so much to off as modern city! The room is nice and clean, so close access to main city. Evening stroll is fantastic to see the night scenery! 

Great location premier Inn hotel

Excellent hotel and staff I stay in a lot of Premier Inns so know what to expect the Hotel is situated right next to the River Tay with lovely views and is far enough away from the traffic so no noise Restaurant is a good size also

Definitely Premier

Brilliant staff, friendly welcome. Very clean rooms and a great night sleep. Highly recommended. I left feeling so relaxed and was able to properly chill which was the reason I was having a break. I will be booking again!

Excellent city break hotel

This Premier Inn never disappoints. Pristine room and bathroom, very peaceful and very comfortable beds. Welcoming staff and plenty of them. Breakfast choices are good, plates were warm (important)!

Ideally located if visiting the V&A Museum and/or The Discovery


We love The Premier Inn, Discovery Point, Dundee

A great stay. Good location, right beside the V and A museum. The meal deal was excellent value. Comfortable room, with excellent shower. Small issue with sink plug that was not resolved, but no other negatives. 

Excellent location and great value for money.

The Premier Inn at Discovery Point is an ideal location for exploring Dundee. Great value and super friendly staff. Only downside was being chased out of the bar very abruptly by an officious barman at 10.45 when we just wanted to finish our drinks in a relaxing manner. Hotel was excellent though.

Value for money

Lovely night stay. We managed to bag a river view and the place was spotless! A BIG thank you to all of the staff that looked after us during our visit to Dundee.  We will certainly be back in the summer to enjoy a sunnier view of the River.
