Cannot believe we spent over £250 for a dated, basic room. No USB sockets, no sockets close to the bed. Dated bathroom, only one towel supplied for a couple, grubby looking bathroom with cracked sink and spider included. Bathroom door rubs on wall. Heating noisy, and pumping out cold air. Room too close to the main door which was constantly opening and closing, a heard of elephants staying upstairs and we heard every step. TV very small for the size of the accessible room. Skirting splattered with stuff.
Went for a meal next door and no one to welcome us, stood for a while, approaced the bar and shouted a few times before a member of staff appeared. No on tap beer. Bottles almost £5! Whole place looking very scruffy. Caution Tape on floor, place empty.  Walked out to find somewhere else to eat. No cooked breakfast the 2nd morning due to no staff. Only ever appeared to be 2 staff on both days. The staff were lovely, can't fault them. They tried their hardest however it's very difficult to do that when the tools are not fit for purpose.
2 nights here and regret making the booking. A very expensive mistake. The whole place is tired and grubby. Would not recommend to anyone. 
I will praise the bed and the powerful shower. The only positives to come out of the whole experience.

Terrible

I always stay at Premier Inn's when away on business as have always found them good value for money.  On entering room 15 the window was open the reason why became evident when I returned, from what I can only describe as an inedible meal, as the room smelt of wet dog.
Restaurant only opened at 6pm menu consisted of 5 meals 3 of which were curries, 1 pizza plus fish and chips no veg, no condiments and all meals appeared to just be microwaved.  There was only 2 options for desert but can't comment on them as wasn't prepared to try as the main meal was in my opinion inedible.
I will not be staying at the hotel again

First and last visit to this Premier Inn

Our room was very spacious the were  comfy beds,the  rooms were clean as was the communal areas,
All staff were Friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was very nice and my ceolaic daughter was able to enjoy ,toast, bacon and egg with confidence  as the staff were knowledgeable. This was a HUGE positive for us  -Thank you.

The food. Menu is extremely limited. Mac cheese was 100% a microwave meal put on a plate. Pizza looked shop bought. Food took ages and there were only 4 tables dining. Expensive for what it was. 
Hotel. Room 16. Mattress hard. Duvet cover way too big for duvet. Room has a linked door and could hear everything next door. And I mean everything! Even low conversation. Room above had noisy floor boards. Bathroom had a faint smell of sewage. Tv is tiny. Absolute rip off for £150 a night! Sub standard two star hotel. This is literally the worst Premier Inn I’ve stayed in and I’ve had to stay in a fair few with work. 
The fact they put me (female) in a room with a linked door with a man staying the other side is shocking. I definitely didn’t feel safe and woke up to every noise.

Worst Premier Inn I’ve ever stayed in

Stayed in a Premier Room with good facilities and very pleasant  helpful staff and as always at Premier Inn a really great breakfast.  Lots of available parking not much road noise and easy access to the next door facilities for breakfast, dinner & bar.

Weekend tour of Edinburgh

Basic Hotel - friendly staff - NO mobile phone reception - Ideal Location for access to the Edinburgh Bypass - Very adequate breakfast - The family room was smaller than normal - The WIFI was very poor - The lack of a phone reception was a serious issue

Eskvale Premier Inn

We stayed here whilst visiting family over the festivities. The room itself was extremely dated and it had a pretty stale smell. We didn’t go expecting luxury but we expected a basic standard of cleanliness - which wasn’t present. There were bodily hairs in the corners of the bathroom and some strange stains on one of the pillows - we swapped this out for one of the spare ones located in the room. 

Overall, I can’t say I’ll be back.

Visiting family over Festivities

Premier Inn hotel was lovely and the staff were too, however Table Table next door are terrible with rude staff that could not care you need to eat due to a medical condition and tell you to take it up with Premier Inn.

Brilliant hotel, terrible business relationship with the restaurant next door

Do not eat here, the breakfast was awful. We waited for 1 hour and 20 minutes, even though we had booked. And it was not worth waiting for. We were 5 of a party, and nobody finished their breakfast. The food is obviously the cheapest they could buy, the quality was poor. And the way it was prepares was terrible. I normally stay here for convenience, but never eat an evening meal because of a couple of poor meals. I will never eat breakfast here again.
Doubt if I will stay here again, time to find somewhere new; Premier Inn has gone downhill recently.

Awful Fod

This Prem Inn is so old and outdated, I'm sure ABBA were still in the pop charts.

Tired and basic, more of a Travel Lodge than a Travel Lodge, silicon in the bathroom was put on by a 3 year old. 

I'm no longer watching Doctor Who but this hotel also takes you back in time. 

Not sure we can buy TVs this small, a 14 in her. Shower using a 'stick to you' shower curtain, how dated.
