VERY well organised site: very well thought out as to what customers would like/ need & enjoy. The owners were SO helpful and lovely, the site was clean, quiet and well spaced out with all of the facilities you'd need while still getting the glamping experience. The tents were generous and comfortable- even though the weather wasn't great we still had a brilliant time and decompressed with just the right balance between camping and being comfortable. Such a lovely spot, in amongst the trees but also secure, especially if you have little ones.

Great few days, we really enjoyed the experience and everything was more than adequate for a relaxing stay. 

Some of the facilities were starting to look a little tired, and I am not sure the ‘infrastructure’ would support a full capacity situation (say 15 yurts for 3 people, so 45 including children, 4 showers and 4 toilets, high season could get interesting!) but we thought it was a great break and really well done.

Staff were friendly throughout the time we were there and helpful.

The only minor downside from our visit was an adjoining site appeared to have a party on the Saturday night which did go on a bit, I guess there’s not a lot that can be done about that.

Great Stay

I came across Plush Tents whilst searching for suitable accommodation for my wife and I to base ourselves close to Goodwood motor racing circuit for Revival weekend. I wasn't convinced initially when looking at Yurts (I have never been a camping type and I enjoy my home luxuries!) but when I saw they were offering 3 or 4 classic Air-stream caravans (something a little different and keeping in period with the weekends events) I paid the deposit right away and started planning for a special Revival weekend. Communication was brilliant throughout, initial emails arrived with information on the site, the Air-stream and the facilities available. I avoided mentioning to my wife however that there were no hair drying facilities as the power supply will not cope with high voltage electric appliances, I could cross that bridge closer to the time!
As Revival weekend approached I received a final email with some final info. Louise, Makka and the team were putting on a few extras free of charge especially for the event. Breakfast roles were being provided every morning along with free shuttle service to and from Goodwood Revival every day, a major bonus! Most importantly though hairdryers and mirrors were being provided in the big 'home yurt' for guests to glam up for the event each morning meaning no need to stress Mrs STH out with the no hairdryers allowed news!
On arrival we were greeted by the delightful Katie who showed us around the site and got us familiar with the controls for our Air-stream van. We also had a quick look into the yurts and to my surprise they were very well kitted out, spacious and toasty warm with the internal log burners. The vans are kitted out well but do remember these are not state of the art modern caravans, they are classic 1950's caravans and although Louise and Makka have had them finished to a high standard in 1950's style don't expect the walk in shower/bathroom to be any where near modern day standards! There is a modern, clean and warm shower and toilet block no more that 100ft away that we made use of instead. The hot showers were a godsend on a 'fresh' September morning.
The living area of the van is compact, stylishly fitted out and the bed extremely comfy. A gas fridge, hob and grill fitted in the kitchen area and a traditional caravan table set up at the one end.
The site itself is delightful. Tucked away in a very rural tree covered corner of a larger farm. Decor is sympathetic to the surroundings with out door eating areas, a lovely big communal firepit which was a treat when we returned back to site every night and a kiosk / barbecue area where the wonderful team prepared our bacon and egg rolls in the mornings.
All the staff couldn't have been more accommodating, Makka and Louise have built a beautiful business here and the most relaxing of places to stay. It is rustic, it is predominantly outdoor based and there was a small glitch with our Air-stream on the first night which was quickly fixed without any disruption to our stay but I would not hesitate to return here again next year for the Goodwood Revival weekend. Makka, Louise, Katie, Saf, Norman and Carl, you are a fab team and it was a pleasure to stay with you, thankyou for a great weekend and all your efforts to make it memorable. Hope to see you again for Revival 2023!

Great company event. Being close to the wood and the countryside was great! The boss made sure we didn’t need anything . I like the small touches, however this is defo not for 4 star rating. I would give 3 stars. The gentleman and the lady who cared about the campfire were great, they told us about the place, keep the fire burning all the time. The bathrooms and toilets were clean. The kitchen/bar area needs improvement. The yurts need a bit more improvement too. All in all we had a good time there. Thanks for having us 😊

Company event

took the 7yo and 9yo to Plush Tents over Easter - they quickly made friends and then we hardly saw them.  Their day started reigniting the fire pit from embers at around 6.30 themselves (terrifying but no accidents), ordering their own cups of tea, then basically just running feral being kids and having a great time until hot tub/hot chocolate/fit pit time.  We've never let them have that much freedom before but it was a nice safe space, and felt like the sort of childhood antics we had grown up with but are too uptight to let our city kids enjoy these days.  Got a bit Lord of the Flies for a bit (the cool girls tween vs everyone else) but actually a good chance for them all to learn to make friends.  They even threw their own birthday party one night in the communal tent.  Obviously they all slept like the dead after all that running around.

would recommend the nearby Tangmere Military Aviation museum if you do need to get out of the camp for a bit.  we didn't bother with the beaches which sounded super busy anyway at easter.

Awesome glamping - kids and parents had a ball

Having been patient, friendly, understanding.. I am still waiting for my families holiday money back from plush. They’ve had it for 2 years.
They cancelled our booking and we’ve waited for months with no sign of our deposit being returned. 
Watching all the site developments on Facebook is really hard. They are spending so much money on facelift I g toilet blocks and fancy new trailers. But I can’t book a family holiday because they’ve got my money. 
Gutted.

Very disappointed

We just had our wedding at Plush Tents the past week and things literally couldn’t have gone any better! We had a mid-week wedding Wednesday-Friday and we hired out the whole place including all the yurts for our family to stay in. It was incredible, we have made the most fantastic memories that will last a lifetime with our family.

Everything from viewing the venue to the execution of the actual day was so well organised and communicated. Leading up to the event we were emailed to check up if anything needing adding and it seemed that no question was too much for the venue staff. Everything was so easy to arrange with suggested suppliers, optional extras and quick replies. Everything was so transparent so we knew exactly what we were getting without any worries.

They were incredibly relaxed and helpful on site and so positive and excited just as we were. Everything felt so easy booking in the wedding with Plush Tents and I felt like nothing was an issue. 

We’re so lucky to have had such a flawless day and venue and for that we cannot Thankyou enough 💗

A week later and our entire family is talking about how much we just want to be back there!

Perfect woodland wedding

My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days. The site is amazing and the yurts are incredibly cosy to sleep in. The owners and hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and special. When we arrived we were greeted by a man called Coby who was our host during our stay. Coby was amazing, n request was too much and he checked in with us throughout our stay to see if we needed anything. This is a really great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet weekend and some nice walks through the countryside.

Thanks for the great stay and we will be returning in the future.

Fantastic place and great customer service

Plush (not so sure ) average yes expensive for what they provide ,  plush in respect there was a bed in a lovely looking tent with a fire, we were expecting more NO music which they say they arrange around the fire pit! , showers ? Not enough for the amount of people, night lights below standard you need to take a torch lighting woodworm rotting the tables (yes its nature but we couldnt sit or eat off of the table and chairs (see pic)  if you dont buy the amenity pack £20 then it is basic camping ! Its a case of we wanted to experience it wasnt the best experience and glad we were only there for the weekend the staff were polite  and you got free transportation to goodwood

The first time our family went glamping ever and it could have not gone better.
The location is beautiful and the tents are kept so nicely clean.

My little one absolutely  LOVED it with the play areas, the horses next door, and the fire camp in the evening. It was pure magic to be in nature. Such a lovely atmosphere. The staff was fabulous too, answering any questions we had.

We will have to come back! I was a bit on the fence about glamping but you convinced me!
