Good location, easy access off M6. Efficient check in (11pm) and helpful staff
Room as expected (a bit clinical).  Very quiet. Surprisingly comfortable bed and extra pillows.  Excellent power shower but only one towel provided.  The bath hadn't been cleaned properly and the room could have done with a deep clean.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable with very helpful staff at checkin and restaurant with a good offering for both evening meal and breakfast

We arrived without realising that we hadn't actually specified a ground floor room. Karen on reception was really  helpful, and along with her colleague soon got us sorted. Then we found we'd got a serious mechanical issue with our car. Karen gave us the phone number for the nearest dealership before we had found it. Above and beyond customer service. We couldn't fault it. Oh, and the room was of the usual premier standard: spotless with a comfy bed and a cracking shower!

Brilliant Staff

We had a one night stop over on our way to Penrith. The room was clean although a little dated compared to some of the other Premier Inn hotels we stay in. Reception staff were friendly. We paid for breakfast which was ok but could have been better as food was a little cold. Considering it’s next to a busy road we didn’t hear anything.

Ok for a stop over

Had a great stay here. Rooms clean, staff very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Booked the meal deal which was also great value for money giving 2 courses a drink and breakfast. Thanks again will definitely use this hotel again

Good value

Stay here all the time on way back from Scotland, great  hotel with great staff,especially Karen who always remembers you  and what you like 👍 
Restaurant next door has friendly staff and good pub food.

Chose this hotel for one night, bottom sheet did not fit the bed, noisy bathroom fan, evening meal very disappointing,Breakfast next morning was even more disappointing, you would not want to eat anymore

Disappointed

Stopover on trip from S.E. to Scotland. Ideally situated beside M6. Also visited Birdoswald (Hadrians Wall). Food from  onsite Beefeater was excellent and great value. Would consider for future visit to Carlisle area.

Great stopover

Just stayed for one night but the hotel was ok for what we needed. 
The receptionist was very friendly and polite.
The room was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and  having extra pillows to use was a bonus. The breakfast at the Beefeater was perfect but the meal the evening before was awful but I will review that separately

I stay in lots of Premier Inn's as I travel around the country for work. 
I will not be coming back to this one.
No shower gel. TV does not work. But the restaurant was unbelievable. For starters more than half the menu was unavailable. We waited 1 hour 15 minutes before the starter arrived. After another 30 minutes wait we gave up and walked to the local McDonald's.
