That was some of the best steak we have ever had and the manager was wonderfully helpful with a booking extension at a time of great stress for us.
Any staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and courteous.
No question we would stay here again.

Can't speak highly enough about this place

This is basically a pub with rooms, and more pub than hotel. Check-in is at the bar.  The room smelled musty and was cold. The night entrance is located along the side of the car park at the hotel and did not feel especially safe, as a lone female. Would not stay again.

A family room was booked it was a very spacious clean tidy room the check in was pleasant and easy the car park was huge!. We had a very nice stay here and will recommend to friends and family to use this hotel when in the area. The bed was comfortable and a good nights sleep was had by all

We booked to stay overnight and the rooms were quite basic but clean. The stairs just outside the room door, as well as the corridor, were quite noisy at times and doors and footsteps could be heard often an quite late.
At.3.15am a female's raised voice could be heard in the direction of the stairs and this went on for some time. It wasn't a distressed voice, nor was it incessant but it was enough to keep people awake. Then at 3.45am there was a loud knocking and a male voice asking the person to come to the door. The noise seemed to die down after this but it was alarming and enough to disturb people's sleep.
I'm not sure if there was a duty manager but it didn't look like it and there was no mention of an incident at check-in the next morning, which makes one one if this is a normal occurrence.

The restaurant is very expensive for what you get. Was better when it was Harvester. 
We had room 211 this time. Whilst the bathroom has seen better days it wasnt dirty and the room was spacious. The kids had room to play and they were happy. Thats the main thing. 
The staff were friendly

Always stay here

Arrived slightly early for check in but received warm welcome from friendly staff member.  Sadly downhill from there on in.    Initially given room 206, it was smelly and damp with mould on the ceiling and a huge water stain.   Requested alternative room and whilst the second room significantly improved it was tired and in need of modernising, particularly the bathroom with no plug in the sink.   I have to say second room clean and the bed comfortable but noise overnight meant only 2 hours sleep.   The room was situated next to clean linen cupboard and staff were not quiet first thing early morning.
Advertise as taking additional COVID precautions but staff wearing masks round their chin with nose and mouth exposed completely pointless.  No floor marking outside of bar area.
Having now read other reviews clearly this chain is not interested in customer feedback as no improvements have been made.   Will not stay here again and would not recommend.

Please be aware the photos on the website are not true to life 
Rooms full of mould shower mouldy in fact the room are not habitable 
Do not visit this place the management don't even know what there rooms look like 

Mushroom farm 

I booked this accommodation for my husband  as a surprise for our wedding  anniversary after searching the website  and came across the innkeepers lodge in Brighton  with  there lovely rooms { see photos above my reveiw  ]
so I  booked 31st August until  4th sept 2020 at the Innkeepers lodge at Brighton 

well it certainly was a surprise, the website site as photos of a lovely rooms and a beautiful clean shower nice clean bathrooms and lovely decor 

Please take heed the rooms are nothing like the website our first room 205 
mould all around the windows mould on the curtains and when you shut the windows at night due to accommodation being on a busy road it smelt of damp,  dirty mouldy shower, toilet seat seen better days, bedside lamp shade on the head board missing,  also a kettle that you have to fill from a dirty  bathroom sink for water 
In the morning went to see a manager regarding the state of the room  and they agreed to moved us to room 2003 
well a little better a very small shower cubicle with mould in it, 
 Both rooms had mouldy dirty shower heads , mirror light in bathroom  that did not turn off, no lid on a wobbly toilet seat., standard lamp shade not fixed just loose 
 Mould still around the windows and net curtains  and still a smell of mould.
 The only plus was the a comfy bed  and the staff where friendly and really tried to do there best for us. 

We left a day early and after showing the manager the photos of the  rooms we where given he gave us a full refund.

DAMP AND MOULDY DIRTY ROOMS DONT GO THERE

This is a very easy lodge to find its approximately 0.5 miles off the motorway. The initial look of the lodge was great, the staff were very nice, however the room had a very strange smell to it and it lingered all night and when my wife and I returned home our luggage reeked of that smell. We decided to have a snack there and to be honest it was rubbish, and expensive but that was our choice to pay. The bathroom definitely needs work doing to it to bring it up to standard, however the decor in the room itself was good. Breakfast was continental which was basic but adequate. There is a car park there and was free for us to use. I wouldn’t choose to stay again.

This place is conveniently located about 10-15 mins from Brighton seafront.  The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable.  The staff are great - always really friendly and incredibly helpful. Breakfast is fab.
