We have visited this eatery three times recently. It’s not that I’m unimaginative it’s simply because it’s a good place to eat. The  carvery is well priced and ‘substantial’. The wine list isn’t overpriced and there are good draught ales as well. I ask you, beef and beer - what’s not to like! Would I go again, most certainly.

Went today for lunch with our Mum’s, one of whom walks with a frame and the other is in a wheelchair. Staff really accommodating with regards to table area and space. Carvery was excellent value and it was nice to see Lamb on there as my Mum loves lamb and it is hard to find on carveries. 
Only one beer for me as driving but the pint of Three Tuns I had was spot on. 
Yes it was very busy as always but no issues at all.

Just left a 2 night stay at the punchbowl inn ,we stayed in the Oldbury suite and what a beautiful room , the room was clean ,well equipped, and relaxing . Breakfast was perfect and an evening meal from the carvery was probably the best carvery we've eaten in a good while. Staff were cheerful, helpful and accommodated above and beyond. Definitely a hidden gem , we will be back . .

A good carvery.  A great choice of sides. The beef was tender and tasty which is often not the case with this type of dining. A relaxed dining environment. Good honest home cooking done well in a nice relaxed setting. I would happily recommend eating here. 

A family celebration enjoyed by us all.
We enjoyed the carvery especially the meats. All were sampled by different members of the family. 
A good selection of vegetables and accompaniments.
The range of sweets was appreciated and our younger members were taken with the ice cream alternatives to the larger dishes.

First visit today, belated Father’s Day meal and we couldn’t be more pleased. The carvery was hot and tasty. The beef and turkey was melt in the mouth.
Dessert was amazing and they even catered for my dairy free mother in law.
Excellent service will definitely visit again.

Visited for our Wedding anniversary, what an absolute treat, Food was fantastic and such good value for money, we can't recommend this place enough, Chloe and Ange looked after us so well, thankyou all for an amazing evening !!

Couldn’t have had our special day in a better venue the staff are amazing super friendly and helpful. The day went without a hitch and always staff on hand to help. We stayed for 2 nights the rooms were beautifully clean plenty of towels and condiments. The venue is set in a beautiful location and our guests were amazed at the views and setting of their outside areas! Couldn’t have asked for more thank you for everyone at the punch bowl you were all so so kind and helpful!

Originally we had our wedding date back in May 2020 but as everyone is aware lockdowns and covid got in the way. Well what can I say, staff at Ye Old Punchbowel we’re understanding and accommodating. They changed our date twice… that’s right twice, to ensure we could have our day with no government restrictions. The staff were lovely and friendly every time we had any dealings with them and they literally took all the stresses away. 

Right from the first meeting to the final goodbye the staff were polite and literally bent over backwards to help run our day. I really could not thank them enough.

The setting is absolutely amazing, accommodation is out of this world (clean tidy and the little thoughts shine through).

Food is to die for, not one single complaint from any of the guests and all the guests were complimentary about the gardens too.

From myself and Jo we can not give this venue enough praise. Thank you for our special day, each and everyone of the staff should be proud of the levels of service provided. This venue is a must see for any couple wanting to get married.

I'm almost reluctant to review how good this place is because more people will want to come here.  Booked Ye Olde Punchbowl Inn for my Fathers birthday.  We had Sunday lunch and it was absolutely delicious.  I don't know how we fitted a pudding in but we did

FANTASTIC BIRTHDAY SUNDAY LUNCH

Stayed here for one night on a last minute booking in their suite. First of all the room/suite was beautifully decorated with a large double bed, a sofa and from the bathroom (which was massive in itself) with not only a bath but rain shower, were double doors that led on to a private boarded area with seating which in the height of summer would be perfect, unfortunately for us it rained.
We also ate here and the food I have to say was delicious and arrived piping hot, again breakfast the next day was great. 
The staff were extremely polite and helpful and any questions were dealt with in a very efficient manner.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I’m sure we will be back.

A lovely find

Had a lovely stay here again in the oldbury suite.Friendly staff, comfy bed and lovely food.It was only a carvery option which i never go for but it was my only option but i must say all the veggies and meats were cooked perfectly and i thoroughly enjoyed it.We will return again due to never having a bad stay here.
