Visited this area and got a bit lost ! I needed the loo so my companion suggested we called in here for a coffee. It was obvious the staff were extremely busy. Lunchtime and the place was clearly popular. However when we asked if we could just have a drink we were told ‘of course’. We were shown into a really cosy lounge with so much character and served coffee by a lovely young waitress who was clearly running around trying to serve meals but treated us as if we were buying a full meal. We were so impressed with the ambiance of this place and the excellent service we received we called back at 5pm and asked if we could have a meal. Welcome was just as enthusiastic we we seated in the bar. Service was again faultless and we both really enjoyed our meal. I’m a little shocked by a review I have read on here. I appreciate everyone has a different experience and there are good days and bad days but I would definitely return here. Our experience was perfect and icing on the cake in the toilets you get individual cotton towels to wipe your hands! That’s quality service in my opinion!
