This place is a mess. Dirty, mouldy bathroom, disgusting floor and walls with a holes in it. No room service, owners really rude. And a smell in there eww.  The only good side of stay there is location, only 5 min walk to the beach. Never again and dont recomend.

Hubby booked this hotel for our anniversary weekend, upon booking no confirmation email so we had to ring to make sure we were booked in.
Arrived and was directed to the office which is in another building. 
We were given no info when we checked in and managed to find the wifi password on a slip of paper. 
I asked what time was breakfast as this was a main condition for booking only to be told "no breckfast, kitchen closed, covid!" no where does it say on their website or any booking sites that the kitchen is closed.  We were disappointed as nothing really open in town on a sunday morning untill 10-11am ish
Our room was very small and the en suite even smaller, shower was not great and had a very noisy night so didn't sleep that well either. 
The photos of this place look better than the reality 
The flat screen tv was about as big as my tablet! 
Neither bedside lights worked either
Would not recommend or visit again

Not great and no breckfast

My sister and I booked the Carisbrooke for a night while visiting family in Bournemouth. When we arrived we went to check in and straight away I noticed the absence of hand sanitizer social distancing information and no signs regarding masks to be worn in public areas. Reception in desperate need of a revamp. We were shown to a room in the hotel Bonnigton which is next door which I found strange. Our first room was small tiniest beds ever small dirty bathroom and tv with no volume control.We werent happy and my sister suffers from asthma and we had the tiniest window. I went and queried as to why we were actually in this hotel to be told it was the same owner etc but we were moved to a bigger room which wasn't clean but better and more air even though again only a small top window. We left our belongings in the room went out for 10 mins and on our return could not get back into the room. Maintenance man refused to fix it saying he had done so 15 times and walked off. They had to ask someone to climb through the window and open the door from the inside which he couldnt do either so eventually used a screwdriver. He had used our phone charge cables to hoist a screwdriver up from outside!! We were than given a room in the Corisbrooke which was also disgusting. odd curtains windows screwed shut a bed you couldnt sleep in and black mould under the window surrounding. Check out was 10 but as we didn't get a room and in till 5 o'clock the day before we didn't rush so were nearly ready to  go about 10.10. We than get the manager or whoever he is banging our door down telling us to get out I was mortified considering the awful experience we had encountered. He than started shouting and threatening us with the police. We eventially left and got a phone call from the owner apologising but we were not happy. And we used the staff loo and were told it wasn't cleaned that day. It was.vile. Overflowing bins brown stained pan and faeces all over the sink. How they are allowed to operate in the disgusting state it's in especially with covid regulations I do not know. And looking back had we stayed in the second room and hadn't gone out we would have been trapped if there was a fire because the door had jammed on the inside. Avoid at all costs.

Worst hotel ever ruined our visit

What can I say!! 

This is the dirtiest unloved hotel I’ve ever stayed in .. 
as you can see from the pictures taken the whole place is in need of a cleaner and given that hotels have had 3 months of lockdown to clean and do general maintenance this should all have been done before re-opening up for business again. 
 There are no bedside tables no bedside lamps no curtains the windows are disgusting, the bed creeks so much when turning over that it woke us up , water pressure isn’t great for the shower,  all the Hallways leading to the rooms and the staircases are dirty the carpets haven’t seen a hoover in what seems like months if not even years, the rooms have not been cleaned even at a basic standard , there was somebody else’s used sock  underneath the coffee station,  there is no bin in the main room so we had to use the bin that was in the bathroom to put any rubbish in , 
Parking stated it was free on website and then upon checking in we had to pay also a £20 key deposit was taken and only one key given, 
There is no options for breakfast as apparently the kitchen is closed due to coronavirus which Was not stated upon booking and only told when I asked about, the Lady on reception was very helpful and accommodating to our needs,
I feel that if you are going to open up to the public then you really do need to clean properly and not just the bed linen, 
Yes we booked last Minute but this is no excuse for the bad level on cleanliness , the town and beach is 5 mins walk away and that was probably the only upside of this hotel, make me

DO NOT STAY!!!!!

Me and my partner came to Bournemouth for a couple of days. We wanted to pick a local hotel to help local businesses due to COVID-19. First we had issues with the payment going through and the management said to my partner that its because we have no money when actually the manager had put in our wrong details, he was very rude. Also as we were staying two days we asked for some extra towels and a mug as we were only given one in our room. This was a massive issue for the hotel, we got told no as they apparently had two hotels to give items out too, then we were chucked an extra towel and mug and the women was huffing and puffing at us, making the whole situation very uncomfortable. Me and my partner stuck to the COVID-19 rules by social distancing and wearing mask etc, but we were spoken too like second class citizens. Lucky I brought some long life milk as we weren’t provided any in our room, we felt uncomfortable asking for extra supplies as everything seemed an issue for the staff. We also had to pay for parking £10 for 2 days, then we checked out we asked if we could leave the car to get some breakfast the manager threatened to charge an extra £20 for us to stay a little extra in the bay, checking in is only allowed at 2pm so allowing us 30minutes after checkout at 10 o’clock would of not caused issue for other customers as we would of been gone by then. Overall we had a lovely time in Bournemouth but will not recommend this hotel to stay in.

Really bad customer service

Horrible and nasty place, dirty rooms,disgusting experience, wouldn't come back even if they pay ke to do it. Definitely not recommended to anyone, better to stay somewhere else than in this unpleasant place. The owner didn't look very friendly either, which doesn't help to make you feel comfortable 

Worst place to stay in Bournemouth 

It is unlikely that when booking this Hotel, you would stay there, as we were taken to stay in the Bonnington Hotel nextdoor with an excuse why.Don't know how they get away with it. Its misrepresentation. Warned by reviews how aggressive owners can be if you complain.There's so much to complain about too.

The manager was very keen to please bed room was good clean and spacious but rest was poor it was a 3star l would have to say 1 the only thing that is good is that it is close to town but l would not want to go back

Stayed here for a stag weekend, owner is a top bloke, really helpful and no problems whatsoever

Obviously hotel is a little dated but is clean, Not sure what people expect for the price they pay

I am writing this after being threatened, wrongly thrown out and borderline physically assaulted by the owner and manager David Davison.

I'm a recent graduate visiting my friends for graduation and requested an extra room for £25 which couldn't go through as I lost my card earlier in the week and it was cancelled. It was agreed by David via a staff member that I would pay the following night with cash as I was busy with graduation activities and someone would be available next door to receive payment in the evening (he owns a few of the hotels in that area). The following morning without any warning or prior phone call the owner David is swearing and yelling at me, saying he's thrown my things outside and that he "didn't give a fu*k" about what was agreed. I rush back from a graduation lunch with my friends and find my things are still in the room (an empty threat obviously to get me back) and suddenly when I talk to him in person, he acts like the nicest person, claiming it wasnt him... I had called ID... He was overwhelmingly horrible on the phone so I decided I wasnt going to spend the night after all and I would find another place to stay). I played along to get access to my room, got my things and (CALMLY) confronted him in person, leaving the key with him and the receptionist. (Bare in mind I havent even stayed the night and he's demanding payment for it). After explaining I knew it was him and showing caller ID, he comes clean, curses me out and physically tries to stop me leaving. He followed me outside trying to stop me and tried to grab me. He even reached out for my bag saying "if you wont pay I'll take something of yours". I threaten to call the police and he cowers away inside shouting hes going to charge my card. Which made me laugh a bit because it's the fact he couldn't charge it initially that led to this. Cue the notification 5 minutes later saying a transaction from the hotel wouldnt go through. Irregardless of the facilities and whether they were good, the owner is a horrible bully who is very good at hiding it and acting friendly. 

Please don't fall for this and please don't go to any hotels owned by David Davison. These are a few hotels surrounding the carisbrooke hotel and the hotel itself, dont let people like David think he can get away with crap like this Scott free.
