We’ve stayed in lots of Premierinns over the years, this has to be the poorest. It’s tired and shabby, and in dire need of a spruce up inside and out. The staff were all friendly and to be fair the room was clean. However, the noise was dreadful from what seemed like no soundproofing whatsoever to the horrendously squeaky floors, which made upstairs sound like they were in our room. You could hear their voices and every time they turned over in bed it was that bad. To be fair I don’t even think it was necessarily excessive noise from them, just poor accommodation. Breakfast itself was fine, but the set up is poor leading to long queues. Wouldn’t stay again.

Not good

We were visiting from Australia and needed a hotel close to family in Ormskirk. We couldn’t have asked for a more friendly, helpful and convenient hotel. We had 2 rooms with 4 adults and a 3 year old. We prepaid breakfast and were really impressed with quality and range of food. It was a very busy period with full occupancy  over New Year’s Eve and a LFC home game being played. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We travel a lot and stay in many hotels and can honestly say we have never encountered such consistent friendly and helpful service across all staff. 
The beds are very comfortable and room adequate for our 8 day stay. Storage space is a bit limited but we use packing cells that fitted in the shelves. 
It is a convenient location to visit Knowsley safari park, Southport, Crosby promenade. 
The hotel has plenty of free parking.
We would highly recommend this hotel for a family trip. Thank you to all the staff for making us feel so welcome

Friendly and helpful staff, convenient location, great breakfasts , comfortable beds

It was hard to find the car park in relation to the front door bur once in all was just as expected. we have  not stayed here before but we will do again. Room was a really decent size and plenty of staff around to help with any queeries

Always brilliant everything you need for a short stay

Great location, and met our needs as a family, not sure cooked breakfast was of good quality but continental was lovely with a fairly good choice. Rooms were sufficient but not enough plugs, would recommend an extension lead 

Comfortable

Excellent customer service. All staff were friendly and very helpful. We were in room127 which was exceptionally clean , very well done to the support staff who obviously take great pride in their work. 
Very quiet room with great blackout curtains, so a great sleep. I enjoyed the good quality toiletries. Good supply of tea/coffee etc with extra supplies in reception that you could help yourself to.
Well done to all of the hard working staff ! 



Treat yourself to a stay in a really good place ! 

3 stars = Average. Staff not the friendliest Premier Inn staff I’ve met. Room 9, extractor fan in bathroom never switches off, so didn’t have a good nights sleep. USB socket next to bed didn’t work either.
The ground floor corridor was noisy too. Kids running up and down and then loads of footsteps at three in the morning!
I never got asked if I slept well here (I normally do get asked) so I couldn’t be bothered to complain. Their loss.
The Beefeater next door by the way was surprisingly good for food. Although the beer is pricey.

Average compared to rest I’ve stayed in.

Love this place. The staff are Friendly and welcoming. Best room for the family. Close to where family live. Ideal for us . Stayed here many times. Love the breakfast ! Can't wait to return. Make sure you join the tombola ! 

Liverpool North is the best place to stay

Sets the standard to which I judge all Premier Inns

I live in South Wales but am an Everton fan so travel up . 
I first stayed here about ten years with my two small ( then ) boys , my friends and their sons and have kept coming back .
Simply:
Great location near M57 which feeds the M62 which feeds the M6, which is fab news if you are coming from the South .

Friendly staff.

Lovely rooms , always immaculate .

Cracking pub next door (The Packet Steamer) , food is great whether it is breakfast or the set meal - just book when you arrive at the hotel as it gets busy .

Easy Taxi ride into either Liverpool centre or Everton and Liverpool .

Just got back from another great weekend , looking forward to the next one .

Convenient , comfortable hotel

We received a friendly reception and the room was clean and well presented. It's next door to a Beefeater so there was somewhere to get food, or go for a drink. We didn't eat there or have the breakfast so I can't comment on the food.
The room was small compared to other Premier Inns I've stayed in and there was no lift so I had to lug my heavy case up the stairs.
Also beware, neither our Sat Nav or Google maps knew the way into the car park so we had to work out how to get in which did require us to drive about a bit.


Very convenient for the ferry

Hotel was as expected with a premier inn. Food in the restaturant was a total let down though. Evening meal was at best luke warm and very dry and pudding was still frozen in the middle. to be fair the restaurant and bar were very busy but still should be abkle to produce food that is enjoyable.
