The hotel is very cute and pretty. Faces the sea. Staff is very helpful especially John , the owners son. We had pears , pomegranate , olive and grape trees full of fruit right outside our windows. This was a hotel I'll never forget. Thank you John and family for the lovely time.

What a massive positive experience

Teo Ezer and his family runs perfectly a small hotel and restaurant in a typical Turkish atmosphere. Teo speaks well English, a few words of Turkish may help with others. The boutique hotel is located away from the noisy and busy centre of Ayvalik, in the nicest part of Cunda. In five minutes you can walk along the seaside to a small town and harbour (restaurants, shops etc). Teo's father takes good care of the very nice Mediterranean garden.

The room was small but nice with a bathroom, a balcony, a decent air conditioning and good bed. Very stable Wifi connection. Extraordinary breakfast buffet with Turkish delicacies - but also more continental choice.

You can enjoy the sun and the sea on sunbeds on a small wooden wharf. In the vening it is transformed into a dining place with romantic views on the bay of Ayvalik and the Lesbos island.
Teo will guide you through the large choice of meze and daily fresh fish dishes. Do not miss red mullets and octopus if available.

A secret paradise

Owned and run by Teo and his wife, they are friendly and work round the clock. The hotel is located a short 3 min walk from the downtown Cunda restaurant area and shops. But it's super quiet. Like all the small hotels along this stretch, it has a pier over the water as well as a short strip of beach for sunning and relaxing, with a ladder to access the water. True beaches in this area are to be found a short drive past Ayvalik, but they are not that attractive. The water at Cunda is cool and clean,  refreshing. In the evening they reset the pier with tables for a romantic dinner setting. Ezer also has a pleasant garden area to sit or kids to play
 
The rooms are very nicely done, they have gone for good quality in décor and furnishings. The water runs hot, good quiet aircon. Mini-bar and room service. Beach towels. Most rooms have a view of the ocean between the main house and other properties. It’s just downstairs across their garden to get to the water front.
 
Teo’s young staff will serve drinks and food all day, including in the garden or the pier. Breakfast is a very nice selection in Turkish style. Dinner is a combination of Mezes and some hot meals, such as fresh grilled fish or various kebabs. You have to ask, rather than look at a menu. Food quality is very good, as good or better than in town, kitchen is right there you can see them cook. Excellent wifi in rooms and at the waterfront.
 
Overall, the place is very relaxing, just come expecting to kick back and relax.

Relaxing and friendly hotel 3 minutes from town center

It is very friendly and small hotel which is very close to Cunda's main restaurant street. So, location wise it is very good. Unfortunately, rooms are very small and not so clean even staff were very helpful. By having such a good location, it has to be better.
