This place is a long way from the centre of Nukualofa.  They had no hot water during our one night stay, which they didn't tell us about at  checked in, when we paid. Only discovered the lack of hot water when we tried to have a shower, we were then given two different stories about the lack of water situation.  I would not stay again. Also didn't see any kayaks around for guest use.

Villa Ishadora  review

The staff is very kindly but the rooms are terrible, old and smell of mold! if you have a choice avoid this place. brekfast is always the same bacon eggs and sausage! maybe the owners of this place could spend some money to refurbish the rooms, but maybe they want only cash out instead of invest. we had to move to another hotel just 5 mins driving (tanoa … much better). I repeat the staff is great !

Nightmare rooms

Good location, 10mins walk to the ferry "terminal", and closest shops and restaurants.  Walkable to town. Beachfront, although not the picture perfect tropical beach (more coral than sand) but great for exploring and safe to use the kayaks provided (life jackets available too). I found the bed too hard but the facilities were great - microwave & kettle etc in room and use of a kitchen if you wanted to make your own food.  Breakfast was included, very yummy cooked brekky but unfortunately no fruit but am guessing this is more due to the severe lack of fruit on the whole island due to the after effects of Cyclone Gita. Insides could do with a repaint at some stage to freshen up.  Great views fron the balcony. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful

Great place to stay close to amenities

Big comfy beds and rooms, very, very clean and no mosquitoes. View from dining room is magnificent. Small boutique hotel and very secure. Management and staff are very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure our stay was very comfortable. Good access to the waterfront and kayaks available for use.Highly recommend, best hotel in Tongatapu.

Sensational

Couldn't ask for anything more from this place. Comfy beds, big rooms, cooked fresh breakfast every morning, absolutely fabulous staff, free wifi and views to die for. 

The staff baby sat my 1yr old so we could go out for dinner, ordered us food when we didn't know what to eat and went to all lengths to make our trip absolutely amazing.
