De Richy Chiang Mai

I stayed in the New Concept from 18-20 and 22-25 Dec 17. We had a 3 Days 2 Nights trip in between and had requested to have our luggage, including some desserts kept with them. We were happy to have luggage and desserts already in our room for our second check-in. We are able to get transportation to the places we go at a reasonable fee, less than 100 Baht per trip. In fact, we only need to pay 20 Baht for both of us to visit the Royal Flora. It was great that we were able to call and get a driver to pick us up quite quickly when we were done. The complimentary breakfast buffet was something we looked forward to every morning. My favorite is the fruits and salad selection. They were very fresh and appealing! Local food like pad Thai, green curry, fried rice, etc, were also available. There were bread, various types of egg dishes, ham, chicken sausage and breakfast cereal. Drinks like, coffee, tea, Chinese tea, fresh milk and juices were served too. The best part is that breakfast is served from 6 am! Hence, we get to enjoy leisurely breakfast even on the day when we are catching a morning flight. After so much eating in Chiang Mai, I was able to use the gym. A pool was also available for use. I think kids will like this pool because there are very big animal floats that they can sit on. There are recliners around the pool, where we can lie on to enjoy the stars on clear nights. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. They could speak good English, so it was easy for us to make enquiries. We enjoyed free welcome drink, bottled minerals water, packet fruit juice, canned tea, peanut and potato chips as welcome gift on the day of our arrival. There are local food stalls just outside. So we had delicious yen to fu, barbecue meats for dinner. We had nice walks in the neighborhood after our hearty breakfast. We get to see fruit trees and some interesting plants. We're really grateful to the staff for making our stay an enjoyable one.
