Right by the border of Old Town, 10 min walk from Tha Phe gate and the Sunday market, right  ext to a nightly food market with fantastic options including a great vegetarian/vegan stand with delicious cheap meals. This gorgeous hostel is an absolutely gem! With modern decor and bathrooms / showers, a cute little balcony area upstairs (perfect for morning yoga), a hang out area with sofas on the second floor and then a kitchen area and free to use PC down stairs. They provide free tea / coffee and toast (with butter 👍 and jam), bananas and biscuits for breakfast. Perfect little spot in Chiang Mai

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay at Thai Time! The location was perfect with the markets at your door step and the staff were so helpful. We extended our stay from 1 to 3 nights and wanted to stay longer. Thank you! 

Great stay! 

The place was extremely tidy and well maintained. The AC seemed new. The property owners, as well as the front desk personel and the cleaning lady, were very kind and helpful. They helped us with everything that we need to know for the festival. 

I think one downside that others might find, not for us though, is that the private rooms don't have a locker nor bigger cabinets for your things. Not sure with their dorms. Despite the situation, based on our 5 day stay in this hostel, we would come back seeing our laptops on the same spot to where we left them and the room still kept clean by the cleaning lady.

Breakfast is the same with other hostels - Jam and bread. They have free and unlimited biscuits that you can get in their main lobby.

They don't charge you for a deposit upon checking in nor in getting a towel but there's a 100 baht refundable deposit if you would like to get a towel.

We loved our stay with this hostel and would definitely come back and recommend this to all our friends!

Worth every penny!

My boyfriend and I had a private room with air conditioning and a shared bathroom. Hostel is quiet, safe, and clean. Staff are friendly. No complaints. 7/11 a short walk away. Saturday night market right in front of the hostel entrance which was a treat!

Great stay!

We stayed 7 nights and had a private room, As soon as we arrived the staff were friendly and knowledgeable helping us out with booking trips! 
We even had an option on what room we would want to stay in. 
Located right in the centre of Changmai you and a walk away from all the restaurants, shops, bars etc!
Also the street the hostel is located on turns into a walking street on a Saturday night which is a great experience!
Rented a moped from the hostel at a good price and professional.
Very clean and laundry service is also excellent.

Would Stay Again!

We stayed here for two nights in a two bed private room. Everything was super clean and the staff can give you many advices for activities around town. I really recommend this hostel for everyone, who is looking for a simple but clean and cheap accommodation.
