Zanzistar Lodge

We had such a relaxing stay at Zanzistar! It is even better than the photos with a relaxed, bohemian vibe. The staff were all wonderful! Even though the lodge isn't directly on the beach it is a one minute walk over to their beach bar where you can lounge and order food and drinks. You can leave your things securely at the beach bar if you want to go explore the beach. We stayed in the Babu room which faces the street but did not feel noisy. If you're a light sleeper, earplugs are provided. The shower was hot with great pressure which was really nice to rinse off after a day in the salt water. We loved spending time by the pool and watching the monkeys play in the trees overhead. We ate most of our meals at the lodge and they really do have some of the best food in the area. We especially loved the tuna sashimi and the detox juice. They have a book full of activity suggestions and we took their recommendation of doing the VIP beach barbecue snorkel tour which was really incredible and worth the splurge! We also had their masseuse come to give us massages in our room which was wonderful. Thank you Zanzistar for a wonderful stay :)
