Stayed one night en route to Taroko Gorge. Very friendly welcome. We stayed in the Japanese room on the ground floor - glad we planned an early start anyway as this is very close to the breakfast room so we'd have been woken by other guests. The host speaks great English and gave us some top restaurant recommendations. She also sorted out an early breakfast - this wasn't included jo our room price but she went to the market and got us some lovely Tiawanese bits and bobs at cost. Thank you!
