We slept well the rooms we're clean. W spent a good time meeting other travellers and the  food was good. They brew their own beer.. the surroundings are beautiful. The staff is very helpful I lost my laptop and the staff found it. Thank you!!

Good stay

Great friendly youth hostel, with space to play, the sea is very close-by, the grill option very good value, friendly staff.  Shared rooms are not overcrowded, have private bath. A very nice budget option.

it is always excellent and relax service stay with you, great organization between the group member of your staff is the key. I really like to stay and thank you to take care of me !

travel around CH for work

Some local friens recommanded the Lago Lodge and we were very satisfied. The location is such a cool, laidback place to hang out! The rooms are very simple, basic, but clean and exactly what one needs. Also affordable with a small budget. There is a kitchen for everybody to use and you can have your meals outside on the meadow. You can have food from the restaurant and it is great. They also make their own beer. I tasted the "Honey" beer, and it tasted really good.

A great place to be

We stayed for one night and went for a wonderful hike on day two. The hostel staff were warm and welcoming and we had an excellent night in our lovely room. On day two they allowed us to leave our car whilst we went for our hike. Highly recommended!

Excellent lakeside hostel

Clean friendly and save definitely a convenient and good place to stay beautiful city beautiful view and the best people I met in Switzerland  lake and station very close perfect location safe is in the room to lock up important stuff and socket was right behind my bed just need to check /staff professional and friendly good kitchen I suggest to try their burger and the hemp beer all in one perfect

Best city and people in Switzerland and definitely a good place to stay for old and young

The girls are very money hungry and insidious!  (Mainly the fox fur colored hairone!) They will also pay you what you shouldn't!  Well, in such a viral period I would have preferred to be alone, so I paid a surcharge for the 6-bed room, this was finally done by being expelled from my room on my last day, I did think it would be enough to paying the extra money when I am check out! And she was call herself manager, so I can not talk about this with nobody at least! (The extra money asked for honey was pathetic too!) But to exclude a woman twice for her prepaid money is distasteful (the first case was when I had to change rooms from 6 beds to 6 beds which was also pointless)!  I don't thank you for this negative and pitiful experience!

A girl or two completely ruined my rest!

The Lago Lodge offers comfortable, clean accommodation just a stone’s through from the lake. Tasty, simple evening food is available and an abundant basic breakfast. Rooms are modern and spacious with all basic facilities (e.g. shower, bathroom, hair dryer, wardrobe, and nice fresh linen). Lago Lodge makes its own beer, which attracts a lively crowd in the evening who also come to play pétanque, chess or just to enjoy the atmosphere.

Clean, friendly & convenient affordable accommodation 

Positive things about this hostel are: it's good location, about 10 minute on foot form the central station or even less; kind helpful staff; internet works well and possibility of leaving the luggage in a locked room there to explore the city.
I stayed in the 6 bed female dorm and was really shocked at the fact that there were only 2 power sockets in the whole room, none of then being close to the beds. Imagine how it works when this room is fully booked? The reception could lend me a multi socket with 3 extra sockets but still it doesnt solve the problem that they are far away from the beds, it would need an extension. I raise awareness for this problem as most travellers nowadays do not only need to charge their phones but also their external chargers for long days out. I also did not like the vibe of the other guests or people that came there to grab a meal (it also works as a take away restaurant it seems) so I would not stay there again. For me it was overpriced, especially considering the strange seemingly improvised building in which the rooms are. 

Not enough power sockets

With some friends we attended the Lakelive Festival in Biel an we stayed at the Lago Lodge. That was the perfect choice, as it is just 2 minutes away from the festival entrance. The room was nice an the staff very friendly.
