Livslust

My husband has always wanted to go to Sweden, and friends had recommended staying here, and it was simply fabulous.... Can't wait to go back there... Location - about 1.5 hours south of arlanda airport (skavska airport is closer, only about 20mins away) off the E4 and 30mins north of nykopping. Situated centrally within its own grounds, in a peaceful Swedish, countryside... The surroundings are gorgeous Accomodation.- we were on our own and had the whole house to ourselves, which was beautiful, clean, and well equipped for everything that we would need for the self catering element of our stay. W arrived on midsummer eve, when basically everything was shutting for their Swedish celebration, but we managed to get the basics on our way there, however we needn't have worried because the wonderful hostess of Livslust invited us to celebrate with them and their friends.. Eating traditional Swedish foods... And drinks, then she provided breakfast for us in the mornings, on the Monday when shops had returned to normal, we were able to self cater.. Sleeping - the bedroom was simply lovely, luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen... We slept well... The sauna was lovely and refreshing... We went on the quad bike safari twice...! And it's such a brilliant way to see the area up close.... We went swimming in the lake, there is a kayak there as well... There are also bikes available for using... Every morning we would sit outside for breakfast, and the hedgehogs would come and see us.... Other wildlife around the area include elks, deer and wild boar... Our hosts couldn't have been more helpful, and friendly, recommending places to go and visit, giving good easy directions to places... They are also interested in you and love sitting down in the garden with you and a cup of coffee, finding out about where you come from... Be prepared for the Swedish way of life, their pace of life is slower, they have complete respect for their country and environment... They are proud of their country, and take pride in its cleanliness... It's a beautiful place to visit, and we plan to go back, and stay at Livslust.....
