We stayed at Jasmine Cottage at St. Joseph’s for eleven days. Super accommodation with spectacular views of Carriacou, Petite Martinique, Petite St. Vincent, and Palm Island.  Screened windows and gorgeous breeze kept our stay comfortable and mosquito free. We had Erika’s Marine Services stock the large frigid with all the provisions we required, so  it fully stocked upon arrival.  The efficient kitchen well stocked with cutlery, crockery, and pots and pans allowed us to make a proper fried breakfast each morning with coffee, French press and electric kettle.  Wonderful internet and WiFi service included. Great service for cleaning and fresh linens.  We stayed here ten years ago and the recent upgrades and improvements to the cottage are wonderful as well as the support services of the management. We will definitely stay here again, delightful.

Lovely Views and Breezes.

St. Joseph's House is a value oriented accommodation and I stayed in a good sized room with air conditioning and my own bathroom facing the porch.  The best feature of this place was the unbeatable view on the porch of the ocean.  This is a million dollar view and outside my room.  There is a kitchen in the floor below for cooking and preparing breakfast.  The owners are very nice and the other travelers became my friends during my duration of the trip.  It was a short walk to town and a bus ride to another resort with a beach and delicious seafood where travelers can hang out all day.

Friendly Shared Clean Air Conditioned Accommodations with the Best/Spectacular View

Jasmine cottage was lovely. The views were fantastic. Of course with any views there are steps! The cottage was cute and comfortable with cooking facilities. The walk in to town was about 15 minutes. Staff were good and very helpful. It is peaceful and quiet. The only issue was lack of internet at the cottage. You could get it at the office area.

st joseph’s house is a catholic church compound which lets rooms (at very good value) to vacationers visiting union island in the grenadines. it offers a kitchen and bathroom with rooms. i stayed with a friend on the second level of a 3 story building. the view of the sea and islands of the grenadines to the south is incredible. the grounds are beautiful with natural vegetation, occasional tortoises, chickens, cats and dogs wandering about. just outside the gates, goats pass by on their way to graze on grasses beyond the property. the village is a short walk away where one experiences the local life of a coastal carribean town. shopping is the local outdoor market and small stores stocked with local fare, wares and souvenirs ... also, small restaurants offering wholesome nourishment and refreshment to its patrons. there is a small french shop that has imported items such as cheese, wines, etc. and a few bakeries with yummy bread and cakes.  there are many beaches on the island where one can relax and enjoy pristine white sand, warm clear blue swimming waters, knee to neck deep and kite surf or hire boats to explore the nearby islands and sight see.  my friend and i had a wonderful two weeks at union, enjoying the island’s very natural, real and very unspoiled realities.

St Joseph’s House is a lovely hillside property situated just outside of Clifton, Union Island’s main village.
It is a small quiet property set in a lush tropical garden with turtles and many visiting birds to watch from your balcony.

The rooms are comfortable, very clean, and offer a comfortable base for exploring this beautiful authentic and friendly island. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking as you watch sunsets over a turquoise ocean.
