We stayed 2 nights in this beautiful location. As soon as we stepped into this little gem we wanted to stay more than 2 days but our itinerary in Sri Lanka was too tight to extend it.

This place was build on a rock, and you can see exposed rock inside the house which is very unique & beautiful.

Breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Communal kitchen was open 24/7 where you can warm your takeaway food, make tea/coffee etc.

View is amazing, word cannot explain it till you must see it!

Host was very nice & friendly. They helped us to make our itinerary while we were in Kandy, and also they dropped us to the Kandy station.

Unforgettable Views

We had a great experience at this hotel, our rooms were really clean and the view and conditions were perfect. The host was also very polite and friendly and he cooked a really cheap and delicious food for us. Totally recommend this one!

Really nice and clean rooms with a view

We have stayed 1 night in Kandy and Tehan, our host, made our stay. We arrived late and he offered to prepare us a meal. We accepted and it was really good. He asked what we wanted to eat since these were the first days in Sri Lanka Tehan prepared 3 dishes so we could try Sri Lanka cuisine. These were great.
Next morning the breakfast was also very good and served with fruits from backyard.
The view is amazing and rooms are really comfortable. The house is located on the top of the hill but accessible by car or tuk tuk. This was the best guest house we found during our 10 nights in Sri Lanka. I'll recommend this place to everyone staying in Kandy.

Great place - totally recommended

The son and father who run this place are wonderful. Very down to earth. Great homemade breakfast to order. Rooms are good size with amazing views. Like the last review said the roads are tricky but they all are! The place is awesome and clean. The price can’t be beat! 

Wonderful Place with a View 

Road to visit this property is very narrow, risky and terrible. When I called the host, he was blaming me to come. When I refused to come there, the owner or caretaker called me and said to come near as possible and when I reached  as closest I can(200m from the property) I called him and said I am there and he blamed me "why you cannot come to the property" and I said "it's a terrible road and I cannot risk my clients holiday and my vehicle" because my clients are my main resposibility. so, he started to blame me again over the phon and when we met he was very rude infront of my clients as well but, my clients realized the situation and they said that they will walk to the property and they came back to the place I dropped them. If you go there you can realize, you cannot reach there by car except a 4x4 or with a high ground clearence vehicle because it is a terribly bad road. I will update the pictures of this road to this property and soon my client also will post a comments about this property and the care taker or owner.

Great and clean rooms, comfortable bed, great view, delicious food and an outstanding host!! If you plan going somewhere with a car make sure you announce the owner, he will fix you a very good price (better than apps). He took very good care of us! Will definitely visit again. The dinner at the location was delicious and it was offered on a terrace with a nice view over Kandy. Prices are very reasonable.

Perfect place in Kandy

Clean & modern ensuite room with A/C, a small balcony with excellent views, tasty breakfast, kitchen area available to use and store food, and very friendly and helpful service / info from Tehan, the owner. Recommend 100%!

Lovely clean guest house with top-notch service 

We stayed for two nights at this homestay in Kandy and had a wonderful time. 
The room is quite basic but nicely decorated with plenty of amenities, an excellent shower and a little balcony. Everything was spotlessly clean and modern. 
The location is a little way out of town meaning you get great views of the surrounding countryside and it is very quiet, but you do need to get a tuk-tuk into town (and also some drivers weren't sure about the location). 
We had dinner at the property and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was also excellent and it was the first place in Sri Lanka where I had no trouble explaining my gluten-free diet. The host was very helpful and made sure I had plenty to eat. He was also a great source of information about Kandy and the surrounding areas, helped us to organise tuk-tuks (at half the price they were charging us!) and recommended we took the train to Ella from a different train station which meant we got great seats for our onward journey. 
We would certainly stay again and would wholeheartedly recommend this guesthouse. Everyone worked so hard to make sure we had a relaxing and comfortable stay.
