Worth for money 

Best place to stay in Kandy, without a doubt. It's right at the top of the mountain and the city view is great. The value for money is great, fabulous breakfast too, rooms and common area nice and tidy. But the service is where it's really top, more friendlier people you'll struggle to meet, nothing is too much trouble for them.
It's out of the hustle of the city which is nice, but a tuktuk into the town for dinner or a stroll isn't very expensive and they hotel crew can arrange it for you.
Book here for your Kandy stay, you won't regret it!

Amazing!

We had a really good time and we totally enjoyed it. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is really good. 
The owner is a friendly and nice guy, he drove us around with his tuk tuk and showed us some nice places, like Restaurant etc. We also did the Tour with him to dambulla and the Sigiriya Rock and it was quite comfortable, even we went there also by tuk tuk. We'd definitly recommend it.

Ideal place for a peaceful stay in Kandy

The best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. The family was extremely friendly and helpful and always eager to help. The rooms are clean and the decor is ok. The got no restaurant, so you have to eat anywhere else, BUT they serve a very good breakfast. Another highlight of this great accommodation is, however, in addition to the extremely friendly family - the balcony! You have to watch a sunset here, just great!

We enjoyed ihr stay a lot and highly recommand this place :)



Fantastic stay:)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were made to feel welcome from the start by the generous owner. We were a bit dubious about staying due to the lack of reviews for this place but honestly didn’t regret it at all and I’m glad we chose this place. The owner offered tours and told us what he could do to help but we didn’t feel pressured at all into taking them at all. Breakfast was excellent and varied each day, I’d highly recommend adding this on! Room was adequate and spacious with a fan, big and good mosquito net (important for me!), decent shower and he views from outside all the rooms and terrace is lovely! It’s up a hill so we didn’t walk up, but a tuk tuk should only be about 200-300 rupees depending whereabout in Kandy you are, walking down is fine. 

Only downsides were WiFi could be excellent one minute and then terrible the next, a lot of tuk tuk drivers had no idea where it was (maybe take a business card from the owner) and the toilet smelled a bit damp/musty. 

All in all excellent value for money, if you’re travelling on a budget and looking for a clean and cosy place with friendly owner then this is the place for you.

Best place in kandy

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights during the Kandy festival. We’re so happy we stumbled across this place. It’s a bit of a walk to town, but it’s actually really nice to be away from the hectic centre - we would walk into town and get a tuk tuk back up the hill in the evening.

The view is amazing, the rooms are spacious and very clean, the WiFi works really well (for once in Sri Lanka!), and our hosts were so welcoming and friendly.

We can’t recommend this place enough for anyone staying in Kandy.

A hidden gem

My partner and I were so impressed by our stay at this lovely home. The place is about 1.5 km from the temple of tooth and an easy down hill walk (but you might want to grab a tuk tuk back uphill!) and the view is stunning. The rooms are big and clean and breakfast was yummy! 

What really made our stay in Kandy was our host, Karun, and his beautiful family. Karun took us around Kandy in his tuk tuk and patiently showed us all the different sights for a really reasonable price. He was so hospitable and warm, and we organised for him to drive us to our next stop - Ella - on the day we checked out. He also knows how to really get a good photo - he had me working my good side for the camera! 

Thank you Karun and family. We won’t forget our time in Kandy :)
