The property is quiet and has comfortable beds. There is a small garden area at the back of the property which I was grateful for as it meant I didn’t have to stay in the room. 
The room and bathroom were both spacious but dirty and had mold. The air-con didn’t get cold at all. 
Breakfast is available at the property although we didn’t eat there. 

Location was nice to be away from the crazy town centre. There is a laundry service nearby with reasonable prices. There are a few shops and a bakery in the area but for a proper restaurant you will have to go to town.  

At least a 20 minute walk into town which was fine going but on the way back can be tiring going uphill in the heat. I would recommend using the PickMe app for cheap tuk-tuks. 

The host was very friendly and always up for a chat. 

Very cheap prices but could do with a good clean and freshen up. Fine for one night while you’re out exploring the city and want somewhere quiet to go back to. 

One cheap night in Kandy

We were greeted by a teenager who did not speak english. The night we booked there was a power-cut, and our night was canceled and no one warned us. 
The boss of the hotel did not even to make a commercial gesture to drop us off at the next place or pay us the Tuk-Tuk.
Don't go there, the manager is a crazy man !

Awful place...don't go there ! Flee this hotel

I wasn't expecting a palace for the price but even with low expectations I am appalled.

Upon our arrival we were taken by the porter to a room which smelled horribly of damp and had stained sheets, an unflushed toilet, and was by no means the 'deluxe' room we had booked. We asked to speak to the manager but we were told he was in town and there is nobody else around.

We took it upon ourselves to move to another room which is slightly more fit for habitation, but even this has mould growing on the walls and filthy sheets.

To top things off we were informed by the other guests that the wifi is non-existent.

We booked on booking.com and I immediately cancelled the two nights we had booked and booked another room for the second night. If it wasn't for our late arrival I would have immediately found a new room for tonight as well.

I know hotels won't always look exactly like the picture but this is the first time I have felt like the place has used false advertisement. The difference between the photos and the reality is astounding, and the lack of any staff to deal with us is just the cherry on top. Not to mention the non existent wifi that was advertised.

Do yourself a favour and stay anywhere else.

Absolutely awful - avoid at all costs

Not a very luxurious place but was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.
One request to the accommodation owner.. Please insert some locks to the door as we had a stranger entering our room in the middle of the night which ruined our pleasant stay. I actually forgot to lock the door using the key..
Please look into this issue.. Overall the place was good for the price we paid.

Small and nice place

Stayed here for 2 nights.  The location is on a small hill side but it was just 15 minute walk (with my wee legs) to Kandy town where you can find everything there.  Hotel’s garden made me feel so refreshing after hot days in town. Lying in bed and listening to bird sing me to wake was a very good start of the day:). Bakery store, grocery store and burger restaurant are just around the corner. Room was clean and spacious. Rahul, the host, and his staff were friendly and accommodating. Rahul was very easy to communicate. Though he was short of staff during my stay, they tried their best to make sure their guests happy.
