Thank you for almost killing us! Service was really bad the guy wasn’t nice at all but that’s fine maybe he had an bad day. But when the food arrived and it was literally raw, we already ate a piece. This can kill someone!!

RAW CHICKEN!

We stumbled upon this quaint little place and decided to eat there. We are so glad we did the food was the best we had on our trip to Sri Lanka. My husband had the seafood curry and he was blown away with it. He was gutted we were leaving the following day so he could not return. I had the vegetable wraps and they were delicious. Hats off to the chef

Best food in Sri Lanka

We stayed in Galle for 4 nights and, after our first try, we had meals only here. The seafood is simply delicious! The prices are affordable, the place looks nice! The staff is friendly, looks like it is a family business.

Amazing seafood in the heart of Galle Fort

I can honestly say twe had the most disappointing lunch I and my wife have had in years. A wonderful day in Galle Fort ruined by a very substandard lunch. A simple order of a club sandwich, vegetable noodle dish and Rotti Wrap took over an hour to arrive..When I say arrive it was one dish at a time spaced over 30 minutes.  The club sandwich was the worst I have ever had, I won't go into detail. The noddle dish was OK though tasted lot better pot noddles. The greasy unimaginative vegetable wrap was not edable. I am really not a person to complain but I had to on this occasion. For a restaurant in such a prime location you need another Chef, not a below standard  cook. I understand that covid has affected your business substantially but you have to maintain standards or loose business. Tonight I am glad to be eating back at my accommodation that has only turned out excellent meals.

Really bad lunch

Located in the beautiful neighborhood of Galle, i spent two night at Fort Inn guesthouse.
The hosts are nice and make you feel just like home.
The room is big and the toilet is clean.
The internet is also good and you can enjoy the balcony overtopping Galle’s beautiful breeze at night!

Beautiful and chill

Rasika, her family and staff became good friends while we were staying in Galle Fort.  Fort Inn Rrstaurant very quickly became our favourite eating place. We thoroughly recommend Fort Inn Restaurant for the lovely people and the fantastic food.

As we roamed the streets of Galle Fort looking for a bite for lunch, we stumbled across Fort Inn Restaurant. Lovely, quant little bistro-style place. The service was very friendly and smiley. I decided to have the Sri Lankan-style club sandwich. I wish I had taken a photo of it, it was immense. It had roast chicken, ham, egg, tomato and lettuce, with a sauce I couldn't identify. All sandwiched between four slices of bread and with a side of fries. I highly recommend this lovely restaurant if you're in Galle Fort.

We randomly found this place as we were feeling some western food. The staff were very nice and the food are unexpectedly great! The pasta and soup were amazing! Love this place. Very chill and lovely.

On our last night in Galle, my group of friends and I were charmed by this little, unassuming restaurant. The owners were very nice and the food was delicious. I would especially recommend the sea food curry and the dahl curry - a little spiced, but one of the best meals we’ve had in Sri Lanka. The curd and honey, which we’ve had pretty much every day since we’ve been here, is also really good.
Would definitely recommend.

Lovely little restaurant

Husband and I visited on 25/11/19 and had a great meal - very friendly service, we were only one of two tables and sat upstairs on the balcony. Very unassuming restaurant, you could walk past without knowing it's there - but it caught our eye with traditional Sri Lankan rice & curry, and we didn't regret it. Cheap, and very good food. Cost us around 3000rupee / £15 for two main meals, 3 beers and 2 soft drinks. I would definitely recommend.
