Super lovely stay in 9 arch gap villa with view on the 9 arch bridge! 😍 super lovely staff and the breakfast was so tasteful. Besides, plenty of activities in the surroundings, i would recommend taking the tuktuks to the tea plantage and factory.

Increadible view and breakfast!

Extremely rude management and unhelpful over the phone. The road to get to the hotel is extremely narrow and steep - only a tuk tuk can fit. Service is also rude and the local tuk tuk drivers refuse to take people to this hotel due to the management being rude to them as well. Much better places in town with lovely staff - spend your money elsewhere. Avoid this place.

Terrible. Rude staff

The drive to the accommodation was a bit difficult. Our driver had trouble getting up because the road was quite narrow, steep and extremely curvy. When we got to the top, the owner welcomed us right away. The family is really nice and is a model of hospitality. The room is well furnished and is perfectly complete. After we brought our things into the room, we were offered tea right away. The owner was also very proud to show us the viewpoint on the rooftop of the house. The breakfast was very much and really good. It's a shame that we only spent one night here, it was very nice and we would definitely come back.

Perfect Accommodation in Ella

This room is located right at the very top of the hill. Our driver struggled to get to it in a car, but tuk tuk can easily get to it. 
I had the best nights sleep here. The room was lovely, new and clean. The people who own it was really noce and really welcomed you into their premises.
You can hear and see the train from the balcony of the rooms and it takes approximately 10 minutes to walk to the nine arch bridge.

We got a tuk tuk into the centre which cost us around £2. 

Highly recommend this hidden gem. 

Lovely clean room and spectacular view 😍

The guest house is within walking distance of the nine arch bridge, the rooms are comfortable and cozy, the hostess is very hospitable, fed us breakfast and told us about the nearest attractions.

A great place to relax

The hosts at this hotel was very friendly and informative. They were able to tell us which attractions were worth going to see and help us with transportation to and from these attractions. The breakfast was delicious and the view while having breakfast was breathtaking. The rooms were very spacious and clean. It is within walking distance to many restaurants, the nine arch bridge, and little Adams peak.

Clean, comfortable stay and perfect location

A free Sri lankan tourist attraction.
Get the timing right to catch a train going over the bridge.
Watch out for local wildlife in the area. Take a walk back to Ella along the railway track or through the bush to little Adams peak. 

Nine arch bridge 

Beautiful place to visit Demodara Nine archers bridge Ella . Morning and evening is best to go there. Because train time is best . Under the bridge have a tea plantations that's a nice. Train is Not coming on time ( sometimes )

Good time

Our guide took us on a field tour to this amazing bridge that is found high up at the end of a tree-lined path where birds meet. A small detour for curious people.

Surprisingly

The hotel has two rooms a little outside of the Main Street in Ella. (3-400 Lkr in tuk-tuk). It's located in the hills overlooking the valley with the Nine Arch Bridge and the hills surrounding it - great view!

The rooms a relatively new and very clean, and there's hot water and nice bathrooms.

The staff are very polite and attentive, and served a great breakfast every morning on our small terrace with a view to die for.

As a big plus, there was a good Wi-fi-connection, for Sri Lankan standards.

For value, it doesn't get any better in Ella.
