Fabulous view from balcony , could sit there all day  and look down at valley . Lovely room ,  basic shower , clean , quiet area up a hill away from noise Ella . They arranged tuk tuk to town . Lovely staff asked for omelette fruit and fresh juice of request for breakfast .

Comfortable

Stupendous view from our balcony. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Comfortable clean light room. 

It is a short 5-10 min tuk tuk ride from Ella, which meant we ate supper locally although it would have been easy to go into Ella. 

We felt a bit let down as they kindly checked the trains and told us they were running ok, but when we arrived at the station at 9am we were told that there was still a restricted service and the only train of the day had just left.

Stupendous views, delicious breakfast

I stayed there for two days with my wife. The place was amazing with a mount view. Staff were super helpful and owner is so generous.    We took our breakfast also from there, and it was so delicious and healthy. Room was very clean and pleasant full.

Amazing place to stay at Ella

Lovely place to stay to escape the throbbing club music of Ella town, only bird song and frogs croaking. The owner is a true lover of nature, he feeds wild birds every morning, keeps bees, koi, pigeons, songbirds, 2 Great Danes and a daschund. A family run business where everyone chips. Super clean room with Wi-Fi, great breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs and more. 11/10

Quiet escape from Ella, homely and sweet

Excellent location and amazing view. Very kind owner. 
The room was very clean and spacious and so was the bathroom. The breakfast was a dream, best fruit in Sri Lanka so far. And the value for money of this place is just incredible. Highly recommended 

Fab view, excellent breakfast and great value 

The room was comfortable and cool and had everything we needed, the view from the terrace was incredible! The family were so welcoming and friendly and the food was delicious. They arranged and us tuk tuks into various places around Ella and took us down to Tangalle at the end of our trip! Would not hesitate to stay here again :)

Perfect stay!

Wills Homestay is an exceptionally beautiful place in Ella. The family has built a little jewel into the mountain here. We were lucky enough to be able to move into the highest room. There was an indescribably beautiful view with a dreamlike sunrise in the morning and the starry night in the evening. Perfectly integrated into the plant world, you have the feeling of living in the jungle. The food is excellent and plentiful. The hosts are very friendly. All in all an unforgettable stay with excellent value for money. We'd love to come back.

Most beautiful place in Ella - highest recommendation

We had a double room with big windows (from ceiling to floor) and an incredible view to Ella rock mountain. The acces to this room was private and we had a nice terrace with a table and chairs. Everything was clean and well maintained. Will is a lovely person, offering a delicious breakfast and tuk tuk services if need it. The house is closed to the Ella rock start point.Definitely the best stay in Sri-Lanka.

Room with an incredible view

We were looking for a place to stay with a view of Ella Rock. What we found here exceeded all expectations. The view from the balcony, the comfortable bed, ... but what made the stay so special was the familiar and helpful atmosphere of Gunardarse and his family. We felt at home here, with excellent food and great conversations. We will be back and recommend this accommodation to all of our friends. Thank you for this great time!

Wonderful place to stay in Ella

We had an excellent stay in Ella at Will guest home stay.
The view on the hills are amazing
The family is extremely kind and was proposing to us many activities around and driving us with their tuk tuk
The breakfast is excellent, we also had 1 delicious dinner at their place
We can only highly recommend this place and contact them directly instead of using booking.com to do your booking
