My favourite place to stay in Arugam Bay! Little bit back off the main strip, keeps things quiet and peaceful. Do note that the local family that runs it speaks very little English. If you can work around that it's a wonderful place. 

Green flamingo manage by nice and young couple.

Hidden Gem 

More than we expected

You can find a better place for that money. Wifi never works, they cut the water supply so you have to ask every day for water to take a shower or flush the toilet, they don't clean the water drain system, so you get a nice swimming pool in the bathroom after a shower. The guy working there do not care too much about the things, and you can have answers like "you can buy it in the market" when you tell him that you ran out of toilet paper. Good location anyway.
