The most incredible stay with Brian at Eagle’s wing.
The property is charming and so peaceful, it feels so safe to be here.
The food was super tasty and was able to be adjusted to different spice levels.
Brian is ever so knowledgeable about the local area and will provide any advice/ assistance when it comes to planning activities. He is the perfect host!
There is a wealth of activities to do around this area or equally it’s a perfect location just to relax. 
I would definitely return if staying in the area. 

Week long stay!

I stayed for 4 nights here and had a wonderful time! Bryan is such a lovely owner and wants to give you a very good time. He's always happy to help to arrange some activities or arrange transport. I went on Safari here, had an Ayurveda spa, hiked Ritigala, Pidurangala and Sigiria and had a lovely village experience with an ox car and even had seen a local making som Rotti. The rooms were also okay, we stayed in an a/c room and had a good sleep. Also the food was very nice. Each time, it was a real Sri Lankan experience but also the chef adapted the food to the level of spiciness that you could get. In conclusion, I had a wonderful time and definitely would like to thank Bryan again!

Wonderful stay in Habarana!

I stayed at Eagle’s Wings Guesthouse for a week and had a great time. Brian has been so welcoming and friendly and has made my stay in Habarana all the more enjoyable. The room was perfect for what I needed, with air con and a comfy double bed. Tea and coffee was also available in the room. If ever I needed anything, Brian would always be there to help. The food was delicious, and varied each day. All the ingredients were fresh and the eggs came straight from the chickens too! Also, having Sasha the dog was an added bonus and she kept me company during my stay. I’ve had a fantastic time here and would thoroughly recommend staying at Eagle’s Wings! 


Enjoyable stay and great location 

I would say eagles wings is the best place to stay in SL. This is a family owned business and is not after your money like other hotels. Visited here December 2019 and Brian organized safaris, bbq's and hiking for us in Habarana. Make sure you book the cabins by the woods for the best experience.

Amazing location and host

Comfortable family room.  We were disappointed we thought we were in the tree house, but the kids ended up quite happy in the loft.  Lovely quiet location with a beautiful garden.The staff were friendly and helpful

Very pleasant over night stop

We stayed at eagle wings guesthouse for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Brian, the host went above and beyond and made us feel so welcome and homely, no ask was too much for him. The food was amazing and plentiful and the beds were comfy with mosquito nets. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a guesthouse with a homely, welcoming feel!!

Great stay at eagle wings guesthouse

We stayed with Brian and Sasha for a week and had the most enjoyable stay. The accomodation ticked all the boxes as advertised and is in a beautiful garden setting. Brian is a jovial and charismatic host who regaled us with his lifetime of adventures and facts and tidbits about his family, Habarana and Sri Lanka. Now on to the food - we ate all our meals here and were never disappointed. Hands down the best food in Sri Lanka - curry, dosai, hoppers, string hoppers, you name a Sri Lankan cuisine and it was prepared for us. They accomodate food allergies and preferences sensationally with a vegan and vegetarian well catered for. And fresh mango straight from his trees! Would come back and stay again without question!!!

Amazing host and food!

The staff at this hotel were extremely helpful and the curry was so good I had a cooking lesson there. It was a lovely short stay.

Great food and staff!

We had a stay with the family consisting out of 2 adults 2 children. Two rooms in the back of the garden. Friendly owner and staff. Good food! Only bathrooms can be modernised.   A change of seeing an elephant in the garden.possible bit we didn't had that chance unfortunuetly.                                                              
                  


Very nice stay friendly owner

We stayed at Bryan’s 2 nights. The location is very strategic to visit Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonaruwa and do a safari. We stayed in the tree house and we really liked it. Since the region is very windy, even without AC was good. The room was very clean. Bryan was the best host. Not only he helped us to organise everything, but we also had great chats with him. Food is great. We had breakfasts and dinners and we really enjoyed them. Bryan&team made us feel at home. We will definetly come back!!!
