Lagos de Fanabe Beach Resort

Absolutely amazing stay here. Had to change hotels a few times with tui less than 4 weeks until departure, with this final change just 9 days before coming. We are so glad we did! From the second we checked in we were treated nothing short of royalty. I had emailed prior to coming in case a swim out room was available as it was an anniversary trip joint with my birthday, the team swiftly responded and unfortunately they had no availability however we were placed in a 2nd floor room which had a sun lounger on the terrace! We had cake and alcohol left in the fridge also for our celebration which was such a nice touch. The room is clean and spacious, the balcony was huge and has a table and 4 chairs on, alongside the sun lounger and we still had room to move around! The balcony was super private too, not your usual lined balcony’s. The view of the sea was also a beautiful bonus. Staff throughout the hotel, including cleaners and maintenance team were so friendly. Genuinely cannot fault anything from our stay, we most certainly will be back. Unfortunately, the room next door to us was under refurbishment (we came may 9th-16th just before summer season and may half term so this isn’t a total surprise) however as we arrived the friday evening, there was no work until the monday afternoon when we came back to the room. Lots of drilling and banging, so we just questioned what time it starts and ends as we didn’t want to be woken up by it. The receptionist seemed genuinely shocked that this was the case (assuming we had a last min upgrade/change due to my email prior). The next day we had a phone call from reception to come down and see them. They apologised profusely, and offered us an alternative room, alongside upgrading us from half board to all inclusive and gave us free all inclusive access to one of their beach clubs too. This was absolutely amazing as they went above and beyond beyond considering we hadn’t even complained, just asked when noise would start so we wouldn’t be woken up! 😂🙈 Overall, amazing hotel, great facilities, super clean, friendly staff, and I am a fussy eater and the buffet did not disappoint! Will definitely be back next time we book tenerife.
