Room on the first floor was horrendous (stale fried food smell, cigarette smoke and noise from cafe-bar below in plazita).  When we changed to the 3rd floor on the second night, things were much better.

very basic hotel, towers changed every day, plenty hot water, lighting in room is not enough, staff do not speak much English, area ok, short walk to water front, air condition working, short walk to frontier.

Budget hotel with reason confort.

Staff are very friendly and helpful but speak little English so translation app or phrasebook is useful.Double room was small but comfortable, bathroom very clean with bath/shower, toilet and bidet.  No soap or hand wash provided which is a bit inconvenient, although sachets of shower gel and shampoo are available.  Restaurant is very good value but does not open till 8pm.Good location for visiting Gibraltar.Big downside was the VERY LOUD music from one of the bars at the back which went on till 4am on Saturday morning - take earplugs!

OK for a short stay

Stayed here for 3 nights in March 2018.  We arrived earlier than expected but this was no problem and we could go straight to the room.  Room small but clean and comfortable, nice bathroom with bath and good shower.  Pleasant view onto small square with a pretty tiled (but non working) fountain.

Staff are friendly and helpful, they don't speak much English and we have even less Spanish but we managed to get by.  The food in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced.  Like most of Southern Europe the Spanish eat late - the restaurant doesn't open till 8pm so bear that in mind.  There are several kiosks and a couple of small supermarkets in the nearby streets but opening times of other shops and bars seem a bit random.

We had 2 peaceful nights in the hotel, however this was spoiled on the Friday night when one of the bars in the square played incredibly loud, banging music from 10pm to 4am.  Imagine the drum section of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards underneath your  window for 6 hours with the drums plugged into amps turned up to 11 and you begin to get the picture.  The square is surrounded by residential flats so how the neighbours stand it without a regular general anaesthetic I don't know.  Even when the "music" stopped at 4am we were so on-edge that every little sound had us tensing up again so we had zero sleep.

Not the hotel's fault but I recommend avoiding staying at the weekend.

Had a great stay at this small hotel! It’s very close to Gibraltar, therefore you may walk 15 minutes right to the border front. The hotel itself allows smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms which is perfect! The location of the hotel is also great, because it’s on the safe side of La Línea, alongside with this it has great bars, pubs, shisha lounges and restaurants downstairs. The only bad thing was that the WiFi was very weak, it never worked! No matter which one you connected too. Everything else was perfect!

You cant beat a lunch or dinner here.,  3 Courses for 11 Euros!
Starter,  main and  dessert with bread and wine.  What a bargain! We will definitely be coming here again. The  Paella was absolutely delicious.

Good Food at great prices

First 2 nights we could not sleep until 4 am as we overlooked a square third night we moved to a room this was ok

Clean and cheap room.Close to Rock.Daily cleaning.

Clean and cheap hostal.

Clean, good shower. Location good for visiting Gibraltar. Walking distance even for me , a seventy- one year old. Lots of bars and restaurants close to hostel. Friendly, helpful. Staff. Reasonable price for the area.  Parking is on the street . Breakfast available in lots of little cafes 1-2 mins walk away.
