We walked here today from the Mirador de ses Barques. When we got to the finca we found it had been surrounded by new fencing and a big metal gate across the entrance - locked. There didn’t appear to be anyone around although we did hear a dog barking. Since our last walk down here a year ago many signs have appeared along the path prohibiting passage

we stop there to have an orenge juce and we just followed in love with the place. Peace  and beauty mixed together, create a very special atmosphere. we didn't stop for the night because we didn't know we could, I am sure that the night time there ia s a very very unique experience.  

Paradies

We were lucky enough to stay here for a week and with no wifi, no TV, and very limited phone signal it was absolute bliss to just really enjoy being here in this beautiful place.  Lovely food, friendly staff, beautiful gardens, great walking, spacious rooms and an interesting swimming hole.  In the evening watch the cliffs of the Tramuntana turn pink and at night listen to the hoopoe and Skops owl.  Wonderful place and highly recommended.  Leave your car up at the Mirador if you want to go anywhere else - but why would you want to?

A heavenly oasis

After 3 visits, 2 with my wife, 1 solo, I can surely say that it is never disappointing! Food is just wonderful, particularly seafood, service is top notch, and the view is great if not unforgettable at sunset (but it is true for many places on the north shore). Don't be discouraged by the serpentine road, it is worthwhile the ride down and up again!

No disappointment 

Mountain biked in via 8km of tracks. May be hard to reach but wonderfully distant from touristy Soller. Very welcoming family who provided large dinner and local wine. Rooms comfortable and lots of history to explore around the farm.

Superb, one of the most amazing places we have stayed

Arrived on mountain bikes down the rough tracks from Ma10. Everyone was very welcoming and we toured the diverse range of farm animals before dinner. 
Dinner was great- a large bowl of soup with fresh bread, slow cooked lamb with potatoes and salad followed by chocolate mousse. House is interesting to explore with ancient defensive tower and many old farm instruments.
Breakfast served 8.30 to 11 but staff started early as we needed to leave. 

Overall a very enjoyable stay - probably one of the most amazing places we have stayed!

Amazing location, great food and service

We didn't stay here overnight but we stopped here for refreshment on our walk from Fornalutx to Cala Tuent. It is a beautiful location (very remote!) and a lovely setting. We had delicious freshly squeezed orange juice and home made cake (divine!). We would love to stay here sometime for a longer period.

Great place to pause on way to Cale Tuent

My husband I spent one night here on 26 March and we both absolutely loved it. Having read some reviews and emailed Balitx d'Avall we decided to park our car in Söller and walk in via mirador des ses barques(where we had lunch). We enjoyed the walk and after checking in with the friendly and helpful Chris we walked on towards Cala Tuente. Our evening meal was as warm and welcoming as Chris herself ( we even caught her picking the lemons she used in our delicious lemon cheese cake). The Finca is a working farm with dogs, birds, goats,chickens etc . The house is like living in a museum, so authentic but still clean, warm and comfortable. For anyone wanting an experience this is the place for you. I had read a very negative revue from a gentleman that I can only presume had not researched or had any concept of where he was booking into, we could fault nothing with Balitx D'Avall and hope to return one day soon.
