My daughter and myself stayed here for 3 nights and found it spotlessly clean and neat although very small. We had a lovely little balcony overlooking Carrer d’Avinyo - it was much quieter than we had feared at night and in a very pretty location. We walked easily to everywhere taking the hundreds of winding back streets. The couple running the Pensión were friendly and helpful, always about and greeted you at night with your key and an open door. Tea/coffee making would have been nice but with so many small cafes nearby it wasn’t a problem. The building is beautiful- take a moment to look up in the courtyard. Recommend this place for location, cleanliness, staff and safety. We have stayed in various locations around Barcelona many times and this is a good one.
