We stayed at Villa Rosillo for a short break walking and touring the area. It was quiet during our stay. The apartment was spotless, and thought had been given to guest needs and decor. Victoria was an excellent host, providing lots of helpful tips on eating, walking and the general area. Quiet location but easy walk to local bars and eateries. Recommended.

Lovely short break

We were in Aracena to visit the caves there. This hotel consisted of self contained apartments around a courtyard that had fruit trees. The rooms we had were clean and comfortable and there was a shower room and a kitchenette, as well as a fairly spacious lounge/diner. This place was ideal and we had a restful night. They also had a small swimming pool which we didn't use. There was an excellent churreria for breakfast across the road and the hotel was conveniently situated near the main sights of the town centre.

A charming overnight accommodation

This place is just perfect to relax, enjoy the countryside, and breath the good air of the Sierra. The staff is friendly and the villa is a place where one could actually leave, everything is well kept and organized. I loved it! 

Peaceful

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely extended Villa. Immaculately clean. A lovely bedroom and shower room. Large separate lounge. A kitchen with everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Victoria treated us like Family, we felt very at home here. Very comfortable indeed. The Villa is right in the centre of Aracena, we asked for secure parking which was only 100 yards away. There are Restaurants and Tapas bars starting just 60 metres away. The local Andalusian cuisine is very good. Jamón, cheese and Cep mushrooms are a must. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Excellent

The location of this Villa style hotel is very unusual. A small group (maybe 6?) of separate old villas set in a walled (& importantly for us, safe) courtyard in the midlle of town with a small swiming pool, a few pretty fruit trees & space for the kids to play in.
The villas themselves are large, comfortable, clean & have all the facilities you could want including a small kitchen. Ideal for a small family who are looking for a base in this area for a few days touring.
No parking on site but there is a secure, private lock up garage 100 yards away which the owner will show you to after you've unloaded your bags. Very friendly & helpful owners & plenty of reasonable restauarants close by or a 10 min walk away in the main town area. It was a perfect fit for us as we had a large villa for ourselves + another one for my son & daughter-in-law with 2 young children.
We have given this a 5* rating based on it's cleanliness, friendliness, service & value for money even though it would probably only be rated as a 3* hotel by normal standards.

A truly unique hotel!

Victoria, her family and staff are fantastic. Really friendly and helpful. The inner courtyard and pool area are clean and peaceful. The apartment spacious and comfortable. Only, very minor, issues were the traffic noise in the living room and lack of outdoor space to eat, but these did not stop our great enjoyment of Villa Rosillo. 

Great people and location

Good value for the money. Close to everything in town , clean, friendly owners and beautiful propriety. What else can you ask for? It is obvious the owners love their job and are very proud of their business. I highly recommend it.
