We stayed in the Hotel at the Ocean Resort on 9 Nov (Sat) in room 1003. We had a choked toilet bowl at 9.50pm, called the front desk to get help from housekeeping. Without the ability to communicate properly in English to the Korean speaking staff, we hoped for the best... At 10pm, A young gentleman from housekeeping came and took a look at the situation. He told us in Korean and hand signals to give him 10 mins. He came back exactly 10 mins later with a toilet bowl hand pump, pumped it three times and cleared the choke. He flushed it twice to check that it’s all working well, and asked if there is anything else that we needed his help. We said thank you to him and he gave us a 90 degree bow before he left.

This short but swift response from housekeeping to resolve the problem at hand promptly is an excellent demonstration of the positive service standard that we experienced. A pity that we did not manage to take down the name of this staff, but would like to give compliments to him and congratulate the management of the hotel for having such a wonderful employee who took his work seriously and did it well.

Good place to visit!

We arrived at 2:00PM.  The line to check it took an hour.  Our room wasn't ready, so they said they would email or text us.  So we decided to check our bags which took 30 minutes to accomplish.   At 5:00 when we hadn't gotten a text or email we again waited on line. After another hour we got our keys a little after 6:00PM.
This place is under staffed if every way possible. They are not ready for prime time!
Unless your idea if getting away is standing on line, this is nit the place to go.
If they can not correct the waiting for everything issue, I give it 6 months before it's closed again.

If you want to spend your time in a line this is the hotel for you

I stayed here for 01 night as part of SITM delegation. good location, and all upper floor rooms provide excellent sea view.
breakfast was good.
rooms are small, but elegant, bathroom are clean, but small.
hotel has no bell desk service, you have to carry your luggage to room, and during checkout also.

Hotel has a nice view and ocean just few steps away. My room window had a ocean view and it was amazing at both, day and night. There is bathtub, new toilet, comfortable beds and all necessary facilities in each room. Also, wifi is fast and working well.
The service in general was really nice.
Only disadvantage is that it was really far from the city center. But if you want to go there, bus 88 will bring you right there. The bus stop is just down the road :)

A lovely place to stay in Yeosu

This is my second stay here and little has changed with still the same good rooms with stunning views of the ocean and at night the city lights are a great touch. 

Highly recommended if you visit Yeosu and is located about 5km from the city centre.

Great place to stay with awesome views

A nice hotel. Our room is facing the bay. But we can't get the sunrise because of the cloudy weather with a light rain almost the whole day. The room was nice and clean.
We only spend the night for sleep and breakfast in the next morning before continuing our tour with the K-Shuttle.
