Pyeongchang Riverhill

This is my first time doing this(Glamp?), and i have to say, its a pretty cool way to go. In this country, where pension, b&b and similar are the most common types of families getting out for the weekend, this is an excellent addition to the hospitality arsenal Korea has. I have been hearing about the concept for quite some time now, and Riverhill was a great choice. Apart from Pyeongchang and its natural beauty, the concept just completed the experience. Located on a hill, looking over a wonderful river, Riverhill is a great place to visit. The staff are very friendly and helpful, big plus, and not uncommon here. Clean, spacious, very well equipped. We had a 2 bedroom lodge, one room and bathroom on the first floor, and room with toilet on the second. Huge living room, separate kitchen, big refrigerator. Floors are heated, easily controlled. You can get your BBQ started by your host with a small charge, and its Korean BBQ time! It was raining almost the entire 3 day stay, and we did not feel like our trip was ruined. You simply dont want to leave the lodge. One negative point for me personally was, the bed was to hard to sleep on, but that is my experience everywhere in Korea, its simply different, probably better for the body (not sure on this). If you are traveling in this area, check it out, you will love it!
