This is a love motel (you will see room amenities meant for this purpose) that has seen better days: holes in the wall, worn counters, grime in the bathroom. The desk attendant does very little other than asking for your name, and the place wreaks of smoke. It does have very easy and ample parking, and it is also very close to the bus station. It is a pretty short walk to interesting sites and restaurants. It was inexpensive, but I would definitely pay a little more for a better place.

Old love motel.

We were here on a family vacation with our 5 year old, and had a good experience with the motel. The location is extremely good, only 50 meters from both of the express bus terminals. There are a number of restaurants up the street, and a largish supermarket about 150 meters away past the bus terminal. There are three bicycle and motorcycle rentals 200 meters away.
Yes, this motel doubles as a "love motel", and the staff does not speak a word of English, but that's the reality you are talking about, unless you stay in 4+ star luxury hotels in Korea. The other guests we saw were a family, a couple, a couple, and a family. No reason to make a big fuss of the "love" aspect of the motel.
Our room was large, slightly over 35 sqm (not the 50 sqm advertised on the hotel booking site we used), with a queen and a twin bed, a desktop computer with a 30 inch display, a large wide-screen LCD television, a fridge, a bathroom, a separate toilet, air-conditioning, WiFi with a router in-room. There was parking for at least a dozen cars behind the motel, and the parking was advertised as free.
The pink wall papers and the slightly over-the-top red sofa were quite cheerful, as were the bright colorful lights outside the building and in the neighboring motels, but nothing that regular visitors to Las Vegas, for example, would not be familiar with.
The only issue we had was that we could not operate the AC remote control, because all the text in it was in Korean. Could have asked the receptionist, but did not. Keeping the windows open was enough to keep the room cool.

We booked this motel through a mainstream international booking agent, who we have used many times before without any issue. Had a great journey there and this motel was exactly where it should be, so in we went to reception. After a wait a gentleman came to attend to us, we did not get an hallo of any kind and was kept waiting whilst he seemed to deal with an issue. About 10 minutes later a lady turned up and proceed to up the cost of the room, which was simply outrageous, blaming the afore said international agent. Over a barrel I had no choice and do not believe the agent in question was to blame, hence not naming them.
The second surprise was the hotel like the area specialised in catering for loving couples, not a proplem for us as we have been around a while, but other may want to make a choice to not be in a hotel of this kind.
To be fair the motel is clean, rooms serviced well and technology good quality. In fact it had additions I have rarely seen elsewhere, after shave etc. condoms and good quaity bathrobes. Despite contruction works across the road we had a quite nights sleep every night.
