It's a nice place, a bit "girly" for me (too much pink color) but nice, clean and quiet.
Good location too. 10min walk from the train station, 5min to buses for tourist spots.
Lonely bad thing is the entrance is hidded. The big sign on the street can be seen but have to "walk in" to find the door.

Stayed for one night here, the room was comfortable and the owner (Peter) was very friendly and helpful! Good facilities, kitchen and breakfast. Cleanliness ok. We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again if in Andong.

Only stayed here for 1 night but enjoyed it here.  Good location in centre, close to bus stops and train station.  Little bit of challenge to find, there is sign but then is unclear where to go.  Need to walk through to back and climb stairs.  Owner friendly and speaks some english.  Wifi is good, free breakfast also good. Dorm rooms are fine, only 3 other travellers when I stayed, not many westerners come to Andong so be prepared for that.  Easy to get to Hahoe folk village via bus, also to dam and village the other way.  Good little restaurants around.  Try smoked mackerel while you are here.

I arrived during the day, so it was very easy to find the hostel. However, if you arrive at the night, search for the lighting sign, otherwise it's very hard to find. If you should have trouble to find it, take your smartphone, look for public free wifi in the area and use you maps app.

The hostel is in the middle of Andong, there are bus stations very near, perfect if you want to go to Hahoe Village. The hostel owner is very friendly. There are some small food shops around which are open 24hrs.

The bed was comfortable and I slept very good.

It was not very easy to find the street (a nice korean lady showed me the way), but once I did there is a sign on the building, and then the entrance is up the stairs at the back. The door was always open during the day, so anyone could have come in and there were no lockers… But it was comfortable and the owner was quite friendly and spoke some basic English. He also gave me a few maps of the region as soon as I arrived. The location is very central, easy to reach from the train station and close to a bus stop for the touristic places, so this was perfect for me. The internet connection was good and the breakfast was the standard "korean hostel breakfast" (toast, jam and coffee). The only major issue I would say is that there was only 1 bathroom for everyone, but I had already read about this so I just took my showers in the evening and this was fine.
All in all, it's good value for money, but don't expect too much. It's not the best or cheapest hostel I've stayed at in Korea, but there aren't many options in Andong anyway.
