We cannot fault this place. Amazingly beautiful location, set high above the peninsula in peaceful well kept gardens. The rondavels are luxurious but homely all at the same time. There is also a lovely pool with incredible views and the beds are extremely comfortable. There are 2 lovely bathrooms and an outdoor shower, everything is cleaned daily. We lit a fire each night and chilled out after doing all the fun stuff that Knysna has to offer. We wished we had had a couple of days more cos this area really is awesome and the accommodation was truely excellent. We loved robberg nature reserve, stunning. Take plenty of water this and prepare for all weather.

We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived, because it was more wonderful than imagined.  The views are incredible and the rondavels are so lovely, with everything you could possibly need.  Unfortunately, we weren't there long enough to enjoy all the amenities, but will definitely book there again in the future.

Stay here and give yourself an amazing gift! its an amazing lovely peaceful place with awesome views and spacious cottages! The host is excellent and we loved every minute of our stay here! There was full fledged kichenette and a BNQ set up to add that spice o the relaxing vacaion!

We were two couples and Nirvana was just what we wanted for self catering accommodation. We had stayed several times before in Knysna but on this occasion we want a little more privacy and seclusion.....just what Nirvana offers. The Rondavels seem a little quirky at first but in practice they provide spacious, cool accommodation. Both bedrooms are en-suit with one having a bath and shower. The large living area can be opened to the outside by rolling up the plastic Windows giving free access to the evening breezes. Strangely for the wooded locality there were few mosquitos! The Braai facilities which we frequently used were excellent. The was a Weber Kettle outside and a grate inside fitted up for both heat and Braaing. There is access a few yards from the front door to a fresh water pool with sun beds. The general condition and up keep of the accommodation was excellent and Madi the owner was both welcoming and friendly.

We stayed one week over Easter in one of the rondawels. We were a family with a baby and my parents. 

Views are stunning on the Knysna lagoon and there is an outside table with chairs (and a big umbrella) on the lawn. The doors of the place can open really wide so you feel like you are living to the outside. The pool area is secluded and has sun loungers and shade from the trees. Lovely to just sit there and have a drink.

The kitchen is really well equipped for self-catering (we cooked / barbecued) each evening. Indoor braai with wood provided. In the kitchen: oven, stove, microwave, fridge, etc. 

The place is serviced each day and they even clean the grill of the barbecue. Laundry are done by them for a minimal fee.

There is a baby cot and baby chair available so it makes travelling with a baby more comfortable.

We would definitely stay here again.
