Good location but very noisy as regards traffic. Room not serviced because we didn’t go to breakfast! We didn’t go to breakfast as had to be at tram station at 0845 and breakfast is only served from 0830. They had my cell phone number so could have called to get “permission” to service room. I had an overseas guest with me who was not impressed.

Disappointing

Slow to respond via email to get information to prepay. Room was ok but very noisy as this guest house is on a major road.  However, that also make the location excellent and less that a block from the main street.  Be aware that rooms are not serviced as a matter of course but only on request, so be sure to request this (if you can find anyone to relay your request to, as reception is only open limited hours).  Continental breakfast is included in the rate and is adequate.  Lovely pool and free parking. 

Great location for downtown restaurants and shops

Comfortable stay, great location to town. The rooms were exactly as expected. Just what was required for a one night stay in Franscchoek.
Only a block away from the main road, so in walking distance to the shops and restaurants.
Would recommend for anybody looking for a place to stay close to town and at a reasonable price. Nice breakfast included

Booked this for a family wedding for a short stay. Place was amazing we booked the suite which was huge. All the staff were friendly and very helpful even offered to do our ironing for the weeding ( which we declined). Very close to shops and restaurants would recommend 

Wedding Stay

We loved this guest house. We stayed in number 10, (the Owners suite I think it is called) and it had it's own terrace with a jaccuzi. It was wonderful to sit in the jacuzzi and just relax and watch the stars. (if the weather allows) 
It was clean and very comfortable.
The breakfast was not so much and no warm dishes but we were satisfied anyway.
The downside was the load shedding, but it is all over South Africa right now. We did not know about it so it was a surprise when the electricity went off. We would have appreciated if we have got the special hours for it so we could plan charging cameras and so on. 
It is stairs to this room if so if you have difficults  walking in stairs this is not for you.

We will definitely be back

Could not fault the staff or location of this property in a vibrant town with lots of bars, restaurants and shops.  My moan is the room was tired, wobbly tap and ceiling fan looked like it was going to fall off!  Breakfast very good but coffee not to our taste.

Hi Nazly, you’ve not responded to my messages so I’ve resorted to this platform. I’m still waiting on the partial refund you promised us over a month ago regarding getting the twin beds you had advised would be available, but weren’t. This resulted in a very uncomfortable and awkward sleep. Please respond and advise how you’re acting upon this. Thanks in advance.

Satisfactory

We were told we had a twin room however this was not given to us which was frustrating. The room didn’t have a hairdryer and minimal natural light was available in the room. Breakfast was adequate. Very close to town.

Okay stay

The room is ill equipped, poor lighting in bathroom, no central room light, no plug for coffee station, uncomfortable sub standard bed, no mirror or plug for hairdryer,  poor continental breakfast. These issues need to be addressed

Sub standard

Really enjoyed our stay here. Nazly, our host, was extremely friendly and helpful which made our stay very pleasant and ensured that organising excursions was straightforward. Room was very large - bathroom especially. Excellent value for money.
