I've stayed at Casa De Jardim twice know being someone who spends a lot of time away from home and office I've come to realize that finding the right guest house is a must something that can take the stress away from my job and not being at home finding the right balance is important a place that has things to do,

 since i love playing pool to relax they have it need to swim the pool is clear water fresh and if i need some outside air you can sit under the Lapa something that stood out for me was on one of these days i was under the Lapa waiting to start a conference call and i was using there extension cable,

 the owner was walking around the guesthouse and noticed the extension cable he approached me to find out how everything was so far with my stay  i told him i enjoyed the facility's so far the only problem i had was having to bring an extension cord to run my laptop on he thanked me and left not even 10min later he had one of the maintenance guys spoke  to him and before i knew it the maintenance was busy they ran cable and connected a multi wall socket plug in the Lapa no more extension and it had all the right wall sockets and i was ready for my conference I'll defiantly recommend the guest house for business travelers and holiday makers and ill be going back again.

one last thing before i leave on my next trip, the staff are friendly always willing to help and they go the extra mile and breakfast is scrumptious

A peaceful stay

From arrival the staff were very helpful and nice until we left. The room is perfect, spacious and has all the little things you would need ,ie. kettle, microwave, etc. The pool and kids play area is well located: (we asked the staff to clean the trampoline for the kids & he did it with all his heart)

The breakfast was perfect, the chef/cook good all our eggs order correct & they were cooked to perfection. We stayed at Lavender room ( highly recommend). 


Peaceful corner after a long flight

We had to come to Centurion for one day for a private matter.
My son googled, found this guesthouse and thought it would be suitable for our family of four. The Cluster of houses is actually through a security boom.
My grandson sleeps with his parents because he thinks strangers will steal him away during the night so of course I had a king size bed to myself. The room which is quit spacious also has a sleeper couch, a bar fridge, a microwave and a TV. There is balcony with a table and chairs.
The bathroom is huge with a huge spa bath, a separate shower and twin hand basins. The toilet is in it's own cubicle.
Besides the beautiful garden there is also a pool and a snooker table (or as my grandson said balls with numbers) of which he couldn't get enough of.
Breakfast is not included but it will cost R60. Not too bad considering there was juice, cereal, yoghurts, toast and jams and coffee. My son and I had to go for our meeting so we just gobbled our food and left my grandson and his mum to leisurely finish their breakfast.
My son said he would definitely stay there again.

My first visit to Centurion and what a little gem

Not impressed. No toilet paper had to ask for some, don't like layout of rooms. Toilet open to bedroom. No door. Very clean and well situated. 
TV remote difficult to use as dstv on side of TV.  Have to move to side of TV to change. Can't do from bed.

This is a place with lots of potential, but was very disappointing. The website photographs look very different to the real life experience. The location is ideal (especially for the business traveller) and security also good. The towels were soft and clean and bed linen also up to standard. When I phoned in the morning to ask for something to be fixed in the room, the service was very prompt and efficient. However, it does feel more like a boarding house than a guest house. When we arrived, they did not know that we booked two rooms (had only one on record), although we already paid a deposit and received confirmation of the two rooms. The room was not very cosy and carpets were not clean and overall cleanliness was not up to standard (although rooms seem to be cleaned daily). There is no door to the bathroom, so not ideal for two people sharing. I missed having a chair in the room and there was also nowhere to place baggage. There was no flexibility with regard to breakfast time (only starts at 7:30, which is too late for a business traveller).  

I would definitely not stay there again. However, if some major improvements are considered, the place has lots of potential to be great in future!

Well located, but needs improvement

We srayed there in Queen room and Princess room and it was disgusting. Shower and aircon in Princess room did not work and we had to bath in basin. 
In Queen room the carpet is so dirty and disgusting and the smell in that room were awe full. Really a disgusting stay. And message to Mercia were not even acknowledged

Mr and mrs

Not sure if this can be called a guesthouse. There is no hospitality. It appeared to be more of a boarding house. Rooms were cleaned daily. However coffee station very sticky. Television/satellite tv never worked. Overpriced for sure.
