Super comfortable units. Stunning location. The whole Property is tranquil and safe. Kitchen is well equipped and there are many little extras often forgotten, hairdryer, hot water bottle etc. Overall awesome stay! 

Beautiful, comfortable and tranquil

Really comfortable accommodation, especially the bed.  Friendly hostess too.  The area is close to all amenities.   The kitchen facilities and bathroom are well appointed.  I will really stay there again .

Stay at 40 winks

I really enjoyed my stay at this establishment.  Comfortable,very clean, good sized well equipped kitchen, friendly hostess and excellent value for money!  There is also a quaint patio with view of garden.   

The Squirrel Cottage was so peaceful and beautiful. You have your own small enclosed private garden with a table facing a cute hand painted farm wall surrounded by lush green to enjoy the sun in the mornings and afternoons with your coffee and snacks. Everything you need is in this beautifully clean cottage and washing of clothes is conveniently available if needed. Host Lauraine is so welcoming and accommodating and kindly gives you your space yet always happily available if you need any assistance. Very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean cottage. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage for anyone who needs space and time out.

relaxed, homely and very welcoming environment. Nothing was too much and the gestures over the festive season were much appreciated. It felt like home away from home! And super value for money. I highly recommend them and if ever I will be back!

Rooms were furnished with what seemed to be cheapest appointments.
No Lock on Front Door and poor security
Bathroom not clean. Rooms very cold and no heating.
General feeling was of indigence and insufficiency.

Not to be recommended

Hostess very accommodating and helpful.  I felt the place needs a revamp, old fashioned decor, could have been cleaner, nice pool and safe parking, close to shops, free wifi, limited satellite, nice little patio with umbrella..........have stayed in far better for the same price.  In my opinion, not good value for money.

Not good value........

Holiday time in the family is always special, and this year we decided on this venue, being close to Strand in the Western Cape. The stay really wasn't that bad, but we would seriously recommend that the owners arrange for better parking, as we constantly had to move our car around so that others could leave or return.... Also, the gas water heater is a serious let down, as you will have issues trying to get to the nominal shower water temperature, as it constantly changes from hot to cold, and back, causing either a burn, or a freeze...... But if this doesn't bother you.....knock yourself out...... A three star establishment at R900.00 per night.... You could get a four star establishment around the corner for the same price..... Just sayin'.....
