Apartmán Pavilón D

We have stayed at Pavilon D 6 nights as a part of our hiking vacation on High Tatras and we loved it. Rooms are on the top floor of a nice old building. You have the same access as people living there but then there is a door dividing the "Pavilon D area" from the rest of the building, so you can feel safe. The Studio apartment is big and comfortable. We are 2 people but could accommodate a total of 5 people. The building is old but inside everything is renovated, it was warm and there were no problems with warm water at all. It is also very well insulated from the outside. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is a supermarket in the near town of Stary Smokovec, 10 minutes by foot. It is located 100-150 meters from the train station of Sibir but if you are looking to go to Hrebienok you can just walk to Stary Smokovec. I loved sleeping there, the bed is comfortable and it is so quiet and dark in the night, you feel that you are sleeping in the mountain but with the comfort of a "city" apartment. Nearby there is also a nice hamburger place, "Terasa Alpina". I will definitively return there and recommend it to everybody!
