Stayed (luckily) for just one night with our family of four. Two rooms on the groundfloor with the neighbouring wall as the view. 
The place looks charming for sure, but is completely worn out. The beds were terrible. A thin "mattress" on a concrete "bed" - we slept really badly. The bathrooms were clean, though. 
It was very quiet. We saw the owner Maryvonne a couple of times during the day, but otherwise there was not much life in the place. Depressing, colonial era feel. 

Looks charming, but looks do decieve

Wonderful location just at the beach - literally a few steps to the beach! The owner lady is also awesome, helped us with arranging the taxis and recommended a nearby restaurants. I would love to come back!

Awesome place close to the beach

As others have said in previous reviews, it's a bit hard to find, but worth the confusion. We brought 23 weary tree planters for a couple days r and r and were not disappointed. Literally right on the beach, large rooms, and ery personal care by Maryvonne, the owner, and her staff. The cook came late which threw off our schedule one day, but the gentle soudn of waves lapping the shore 50 meters away from our room made up for it. For the price per night, it is tough to beat.

Couldn't ask for to much more...

We found A Keurmaya on a different site which gave the GPS coordinates and it is even in Apple maps.  However, at that location there is nothing there.  The real hotel, Keurmaya Residences (also in apple maps)  is further north, near the odyssey and donjon.  Hard to find without a map but it does have a little heart shaped sign indicating the street you go down. The hotel has red doors but is not markede with the name, so you really need to call ahead to have them stand in front to show you where it is.  However, once we finally found it we were very happy. The cost was 27,000 CFA and it had a nice little kitchen and massive private terrace.  The photos on other sites are a bit misleading, the garden area and pool is actually closed off. The rooms are up a couple flights of stairs and to get wifi there's a couple of little chairs you can sit on on the ground floor where it works.  We had a lot of trouble using the wifi password until we figured out they were spelling it incorrectly. The main man, Eli, was the friendliest hotel person I've met in Senegal. A genuinely nice guy, though little English. He helped carry our numerous heavy bags up and down the stairs. Just a few meters from the beach. Not so touristy the beach, although good restaurant Le Paulo within walking distance (blah service through).  Thumbs up to Keurmaya.
