Casa Wagner has a great location, right in the central plaza. The staff are very friendly, respectful and made our entire stay comfortable. I loved the style of the hotel. It’s very antique. The rooms are big. 

Amazing experience

We were here for 2 nights and the room was just we expected, the employees were very welcoming with us, made the stay better for us, the food is great as well and the breakfast is diversified, you home some options if you don’t like to eat anything.

Pleasant experience 

This elegant boutique hotel is in the centre of the citadel in the old district.  Step outside to the 13th century Clock Tower, the house where Vlad the Impaler was born and The Venetian House.  Surrounded by lovely restaurants and eclectic gift shops, this is location, location, location.  The only thing to keep in mind is that being an old building there is no lift so if you can't carry your own luggage up the stairs then request a ground level room.

Such a lovely place to stay

The hotel is placed in a perfect location as it is close to every attraction point. Moreover, the room was very clean, large and thoughtfully arranged. It really helps you get in the city's atmosphere.

A very pleasant stay! 

A very nice hotel in the center of Sighisoara, clean, very helpful staff. The hotel doesn't have parking so be carful you have to park your car outside of the fortifications. The rooms are relatively small to what you might be used to but overall a very nice hotel.

A very good option when in Sighisoara

Hotel Casa Wagner is in a historic building within the Sighisoara castle walls, facing the central plaza, and close to popular sights such as the clock tower, church and museums.  I stayed with a group of friends.  My room had twin beds, wardrobe, telephone, flat screen TV, small fridge, and tiled bathroom with large tub, toilet and sink.   The beds were comfortable, but unfortunately my sleep was interrupted by a loud dog barking at 4:30am outside my window.  Hotel staff was welcoming and helpful.  The breakfast buffet had lots of choices, featuring scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, 3 types of cereal, several types of luncheon meats, sausages, cheese, tomatoes, breads, pastries, juice, coffee and tea.

Great location inside the castle hearty breakfast

I loved the decor and location of this hotel. Its right on the main square in the old town (the old town is so small that any hotel located within its walls will be a good location though). The hotel courtyard is very cute with gorgeous vintage decor.

The room was quite nice. Cleaning was just OK, there was hair in the bathtub when we arrived and our room was not cleaned between nights (we stayed 2 nights), they just left new towels on the bed without taking away our used ones and didn't even empty the rubbish bin in the bathroom.

Security was not very good, sometimes there was no one at reception so we just took our own keys, anyone could have done this. Maybe the mentality is that it's safe because it's a small town? We were told reception would be open until 11pm but on our last night we returned at 10pm and all the lights were off, there was no staff anywhere so we just took our keys from behind the counter. I would recommend not leaving your key at reception for security reasons, the only problem with it is there is only 1 key per room so you'd have to stay together.

I thought breakfast was good, there was hot fresh scrambled eggs, nice cheeses and salad and the coffee machine made decent coffee. 

Cute hotel, OK service

We stayed at the hotel for one night as part of an escorted tour. Our room was at the back of the hotel, through the courtyard and on the first floor. It was a large twin bedded room with a small entrance area and bathroom. The room was adequately furnished and there was a large wooden wardrobe in the entrance area. The outlook was to the rear and you could see one of the entrance towers into the square. Unfortunately there were no drinks making facilities. The bathroom had a nice large bath but no plug and the shower was a hand held version which made it very difficult showering, especially if you also wanted to wash your hair. There are no hairdryers in the rooms either. All that aside it was a very quiet room, comfy beds and the furnishings were perfectly adequate. Another of our party had a room on the lower floor, I believe it was no. 24, which looked out to the alley and the noise of people coming and going in the early hours accompanied by a barking dog in a nearby residence kept them awake much of the night. The breakfast room is nicely set out and the buffet style food is in an adjoining room. There was a reasonable selection of items including scrambled eggs, bread, cereals, fruit and yoghurt. We all enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

Good location, nice inner courtyard.

The hotel building is 400-500 years old, built on top of an even older guest house. The Sighisoara citadel is one of the most beautifull, exciting, historic old towns in Transylvania. Lovely rooms, do not expect luxury, but decent, clean, nice, good wifi, very good prices. A must if you are hunging for Vampires.
