We stayed here for 1 night during the week in August. We paid 33€ for a twin room and shared bathroom and I would not recommend this.

We decided to privilege location over quality when visiting Mamaia as we wanted to be able to enjoy the Beach as much as possible.

When trying to find the hostel you should remember the pictures posted such as the ones on booking.com with the GREEN casino sign because there is another one that is blue right beside it and that's the casino Nord. I even went in to ask them where was mine and she incorrectly told me that the south one was 100m across the boardwalk on the other side of the bustling road, when actually it was basically right beside it a couple metres down but the sign is not as visible.

Our room was less than your typical hostel room... 2 twin beds, no bedding nor linens nor towels. 1 outlet for the entire room. An armoire that reeked of cigarette smoke. And some drawers. There was a window to let some air in as it heats up very fast but hopefully you don't have noisy neighbours like we did that enjoyed talking very loudly into the late hours of the night even on a weekday.

We saw 1 bathroom area although I believe there was 2. Regardless the one closest to our room (we were #16) was 2 rooms down and this was the closest for all rooms 1-16. It has 3 shower stalls with curtains (no door), 6 sinks if I remember correctly, and 3 toilet stalls (that don't lock close). It was not very clean at all and not once did I see any personnel clean it. You may have more luck with the beach showers near the beach access.

The upside is that you are literally on the beach. Walk a 100m or so and you are in the sea. There was also a free high rise parking building near the hostel.

Even though 33€ is not very expensive for the location I think spending 10-20€ more could get you a nice hotel room or at least a private bathroom and bed linens.
