Wonderful apartment! Large, spacious, sunny, comfortable, modern design. Two private terraces! There is a view of the water and the market. Located about a block from the market. I was concerned that it would be too loud because of the location, but it was very quiet (this was in February, though). Kitchen includes stovetop, microwave, and dishwasher, but no oven. Plenty of dishes and pans, but strangely, no sponge or dish detergent, also no food staples such as salt. Highly recommend!

Wonderful apartment close to waterfront

Perfectly located 1 street back from the markets.  The apartment was incredibly clean, bright and airy with all modern conveniences.  Wifi had a strong signal. A lot of money has been spent on renovations.

The apartments facing the street do have quite a bit of evening noise as the restaurant kitchens open up onto the alleyway.

All staff encountered were very chatty and friendly.

I would have liked if sheets had been changed during a 10 night stay.  Pay that bit extra for one of the apartments with balcony or patio.  The rooftop terrace had sun loungers - very relaxing.

Outstanding !

We have been lucky in all our travels and rarely have needed to request some issue with the property.  This time we had trouble with the heater.  Of course you do not often need heat in Portugal but we checked in during a rare cold snap.  The Sol Ria agent came right over the next morning and fixed things and warmed the place right up.  There was a heater in the living room and bedroom but we couldn't get them to turn on, so they came and fixed it for us very promptly.
We loved our stay.  The place is a great location.  There is plenty of paid or even free parking around the downtown area.  You just have to look and walk a couple blocks.  This place is directly across from the market and marina.  Amazing view from the terraces and so easy to stay here.  There is no elevator so if you have a giant bag and cannot manage it up steps, then this might not be the place for you.  We travel very light and found the steps and doors very manageable.
We were only there for 3 nights so we didn't cook, But I would have loved to have bought fresh fish at the market, walked the 100 meters to our own grill on a terrace or even the roof top to eat and watch the water.... The amazing number of restaurants here, it it easy to never cook.

Good Location and Service

The apartment was perfect - spacious, impeccably clean, well equipped and with a comfortable bed.  It's location could not have been better : close to the main avenue and the old town, near the markets and only a 5 minute walk from the pier where one could take the ferry or an excursion to the islands.   The rooftop terrace had a wonderful view over the markets and the Ria Formosa lagoon.

Stayed in the Penthouse Apartment here for a week in March.Everything about is was absolutely lovely.Very spacious place with two balconies.Located in the centre of the town with bars, restaurants and delicious bakery on your doorstep.Looking forward to returning as having been to Olhao several times it is definitely the place to stay.

Beautiful Apartment

Located 1 road back from the harbour front near to the fish market, so very central for all restaurants. About a 10 minute walk from the birdwatching lagoons (past the Real Marine hotel).
Apartments H and I are very much the best - on the second floor so get a view out to sea with outdoor seating on both sides of the building so that you can always sit out in either a shady or a sunny place. (other rooms don’t have an outdoor area, but there is a great roof garden with seating areas and a barbecue for communal use). Apartments H and I also have the bedrooms at the back so that you cannot hear the noise of the air-conditioning units of the restaurants which are between the apartments and the harbourside.
Decor is modern and bright, with comfortable furnishings and an upmarket feel. Spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped and would be fine for self-catering (although we ate out every night as this is cheap and there are lots of restaurants). There is a supermarket within a few minutes walk (go east on the backstreets towards the new fishing harbour and look for the black and white murals painted on the walls). The fish and vegetable markets on the harbourside are a two minute walk away and have fantastic, cheap fresh produce

Conveniently central

Fabulous 3 nights in Olhão. H is lovely, well appointed and with great views across the town. The shared roof terrace was a bonus. Clean, tidy and modern. Perfect position in the centre of town and the brilliant market and restaurants 

3 nights in Olhao

The modern penthouse suite was light and airy, spotlessly clean with a good shower and well equipped kitchen. It included a fair sized balcony with furniture,sun shade and bbq for personal  use . Also there was also a small shared sun deck on the roof if you needed it with shading and loungers.

The suite had quality furnishings throughout and an orthopedic bed which was firm but not uncomfortable. My wife did not sleep well due to the firm pillows , but found them o.k.

The accommodation is centrally located by the fishmarket and sea front where the ferries dock for island transfers/day trips. If you enjoy eating fish then Olhao is heaven with plenty of fairly inexpensive places to eat.

Highly recommended.

Centrally located spotlessly clean apartment with two great balconies one with great views.  Easy to access close to markets and amazing restaurants Only recommendation is more UK tv channels not just news.
