We stayed here for one night and what a wonderful surprise of a place. Actually I think they were surprised as the office was closed and they weren't expecting us. When they realised that we had booked however they were so friendly and accommodating. We are a family of 4 and had an apartment to ourselves and had a great time at the pool.
The garden is magnificent, full of orange and lemon trees, water features and model camels! Wonderful old farm buildings too.
The breakfast was the best I have ever had.
This place would be wonderful for a large group of people, a party or a wedding.
We all loved it and would definitely come back.

Wonderful place, full of surprises

Nice accommodation, comfortable facilities, spacious space and absolute quiet, ideal for a few days of rest, a small, varied lunch, always with a cake of the day and the sympathy of D. Antonieta, the only exception: the time it takes the hot water to reach the shower, repeating.

Calmness

It's a big farmhouse with a few buildings rented out as a hotel. The farm is nice to walk around, very well-kept, surrounded by plants and animals. The rooms are old furniture. The only thing I didn't like in winter was not enough heating. I froze at night. On the farm you can buy local wine and cheese.

It's a beautiful place

13.6.2015 It is not easy to travel with a dog in Spain and Portugal. Few accommodations allow the tourist to take a dog into the room. Often you can find opportunities in the countryside where this is allowed. The Quinta da Seara is such a place. This old Portuguese estate has a history. The owners have remodeled some houses and they are now being rented to tourists. We felt very comfortable there. The facilities are simple and clean. The staff, here I think of the Srainetta, she has been working in the Quinta for over 10 years, is very helpful. Parking is available. WiFi in the TV unit. Breakfast range available.

A real, old Portuguese court

Nothing to say about the cottage itself (rooms, bathroom, kitchen, living room), the services (breakfast, swimming pool, garden) but two important amenities: wifi not available in the cottage (only in the breakfast room) and very noisy cottage: neighbors (small cloves) and especially dogs barking all night long!!!

There's probably a better place in the area!

I offered my wife a weekend as a birthday present. Between email communications, a snack and a bouquet of flowers were arranged, and they arrived. Unfortunately, no one warned me about the snack or the delivery of the bouquet. The next day I spoke at the reception and they told me because I didn't show up at the cafeteria, I didn't have the right to it anymore.

Lack of organization and communication with customers!

It's a huge complex. I think it's not only a tourist reception, but also a working farm. For tourists, there are separate two-room cottages. The rooms are huge, which for winter, unfortunately, minus - they just don't warm up. The grocery store is very interesting. There were only hot buns for breakfast, but even for us.

Good agro-tourism in the wine region of Minyo

This family-owned quinta is located just a few minute's drive from the resort town of Esposende. I arrived after dark and after hours, but the owner/host actually drove to meet me on the road, since I didn't have complete directions. He made sure I was comfortably situated before leaving me to settle in to the cozy and spacious room. I was tired, but even at that, it was amazing to me that I slept soundly for eleven hours in my very comfortable bed.
Breakfast included juice, fresh ham, cheese, breads, etc., and a marvelous, moist cake to go with perfectly brewed coffee. 
When I was ready to checkout, I had not one but two people help me with my bags, and was gifted with a bottle of wine from the vineyard on the property. 
I look forward to a return visit to this dog-friendly hotel when in the area again, and highly recommend it.
