The location of the hotel is excellent 50m from the ski lift, the hotel is under renovation and the renovated rooms are very modern, the breakfast is delicious, the hotel decor with many beautiful details.

Great place and fantastic  staff

The building is nice, old but renovated. Rooms are of a convenient size but tacky which is really a pity :(  There are some old elements but there is a number of furniture are cheap and contemporary. Walls and ceilings are painted like in kindergarten or like in an asylum. Bathroom is old (made in 90ties) and requires renovation. Towels and sheets are old, towels are no longer white and sheets were ragged. There is no elevator and no bell boy and rooms are located on the 1st or 2nd floor (heavy luggage must remain in the car).
Reception desk is managed by elderly man who behaves like king in the castle. Breakfast area (breakfast restaurant) is a very strange place - tables are decorated like for a wedding party, but there are horns on the walls everywhere and staffed animals. Waiters treat the guests like it was  their first ever visit in a breakfast restaurant and the plates and cups are placed on the tables so if you want to get some food you have to take cutlery from the table go to the food table and go back. Food is really good but the coffee tastes awful, like it was mixed with mud. No modern coffee machine only the ancient one with brownish liquid. Cost was above average and there was no modern equipment and convenience. On the bright side- they accept animals though the cost is like in a 5 star hotel.

B&B in 100+ y.o. residence with no modern conveniences

Group of 6 on a short break, stayed here for two nights. Atmosphere was great and felt very authentic to really enjoy polish culture and tradition. Food was great had breakfast and dinner both fantastic (especially the sausages!), if visiting in winter make sure to try mulled wine. Owner was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble, would definitely recommend!

Excellent short break

The location was perfect for our needs, close to the bus stop and pickup site for the tour we booked in the are.The hotel is almost 100 years old and the guests have to remember that they will face stairs and no elevator.We did not appreciate the smallest double bed ever, it might comply with the European standard however it lacks comfort.The breakfast was amazing in taste and size, almost compensated for the small bed size.We could have used more information about the area or suggestions about sightseeing the local sights.Also,we were surprised that the only form of payment for the lodging was cash.It was an inconvenient rule since we had to find the place to exchange the money.The decor of the residence was interesting,very different from the other hotel chain possibilities.We will recommend BIALY JAR to the travelers with the advice given in this review..We will stay in this hotel again and hopefully see more of the sights we have missed.

Quaint,old fashioned,well situated, inviting hotel

The place looks very nice, but its about it. The service is horrible and the staff is very unfriendly. It took about 20 min. just to get the menu card, and 15 min. more before the someone came take our order. Only to inform that any dish would take 40 min. to make and this was on a quiet day.

No need to say that we left the restaurant without ordering. 

Bad bad bad.... 

I must admit, i was a little worried about booking this hotel after seeing the previous revies, however, i decided to see for myself.
Hotel was very clean and friendly. Very helpfull staff. The main barcarea was a little cold, but probble to it not really being used at this time.
Food in the restaurant below, was fantastic and at a great value.
Breackfast i must admit was a little basic, but nothing to moan about. It was all fresh. Good free wifi. Cleaning staff very friendly, Carpark staff freiendly and remembered us everytime.
So happly and pleased with the hotel have re-booked.
People. If you want a 5* hotel than go to one. If you are looking for a place thats clean, simple, good food and freindly at a readonable price. This is the place.

3 night stay

Looks nice from out side, warn down, but nice..inside is however another matter. If you are into stuffed animals okay as they are everywere, but not cleaned. Too many things around, that dont need to be there. Total stile confusuion.Worst part for us was, that they didnt serve breakfast before 9am and finish at 10am? too clever thinking and it wasnt that fantastic either, served powder coffee.

Old authentic hotel. Very nice and perfect location. Close to the trails to the sights, but away from the more hectic touristic areas.The anguage skills of the staff are very limited, but they try HARD to help and meet your needs. With a little help from Google Translate, a friendly approach and some international gestures we managed everything fine.Breakfast buffet fine if you come at 9, when it opens.
