Great, cozy hotel. Large, clean rooms - I had one with a balcony. The rooms are well soundproofed - the sounds from the party in the restaurant are virtually inaudible. Clean, large bathrooms. Great nice and helpful service. Great breakfasts and a surprise - as I was leaving very early in the morning, I received a lunch box instead of breakfast (even though I didn't ask for it). And it's a really tasty lunch box. And a great location - 15 minutes to the airport and only because the shorter road is being renovated.

Great place to stay

I came in on a quiet night and the parking area was very dark.  There were no lights on in the parking lot (which is behind the building and not visible from the street) and this gave a creepy feeling before I checked in.  Also it just makes it that much harder to unload my luggage from a car.  Motion lights would work well in this parking lot!

Convenient for the airport, but a bit out of town for sightseeing.  This is a residential area and local business area.

The check in staff was lovely and she spoke very good English which was a bonus.  The breakfast buffet was good and a nice variety.  Plenty of parking, as they have banqueting facilities too.  Large room and bathroom with coffee making in the room.

Nice stay, need lighting in parking lot!

After my flight got cancelled, Wizzair sent me to Walewscy Hotel, where I arrived late after a (very) long day at the airport. The receptionist was amazingly friendly, spoke very well English and insisted on dragging my 26kg suitcase up the stairs to my room. This was utterly impressive, as I could barely manage to get it down the next day. She made sure I had all the information necessary, that I did not lack anything in the room and wished me a good night. That is a great deal more than what I got at Hilton…

The room was very spacious and featured a large balcony, but kept in a simple motel style. Still, everything was well maintained and spotlessly clean – and the bathroom was very modern and nice. I had a room facing the parking lot, and slept with my window open all night without much disturbance from the street. The only drawback was the lack of proper curtains, as I prefer the room to be as dark as possible while sleeping. The Internet was free of charge, and worked perfectly. There was also coffee and tea making facilities in the room, as well as a large flat screen TV. 

The breakfast was like being at a birthday celebration with my Czech grandparents. Plenty of spreads, devilled eggs, sausages, ham, cheese and small “salads”. A very Polish breakfast; all well-presented and often refilled. The breakfast room was small, but seemed adequate for the number of guests present.

As this was a rather short stay, I cannot say much about the surrounding area – but I saw a bus to the city centre across the road from the hotel. There was also a small Carrefour Express 400m from the hotel. I would, however, recommend this hotel as an airport hotel or that you bring a car. The taxi ride to/from the airport took around 10 minutes, and I would guess the price to be around 35 zloty (I had a voucher from Wizzair). The receptionist was also helpful enough to print out my ticket, and book a taxi.

A surprisingly pleasant stay after a horrible day at the airport – I highly recommend it!

A pleasant surprise

We just stayed one short night, when we were on our way home from Poland. Arrived late (by rental cars) and flew out from Gdansk early in the morning. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff very friendly and service minded. Very nice prices also. Highly recommendable and I will stay there again, if I go back to the Gdansk-area.

Surprisingly nice an convenient!

A hotel near Gdansk airport. Easily accessible by bus no. 167 from the railway station.  Clean, modern, quiet and peaceful although a busy road nearby. The restaurant served tasty and delicious dinner with reasonable price. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff was polite and helpful.

Peace and quiet

Outside the city centre (about 10-15 minutes away) so not convenient for the sights but very convenient for the airport and as a base if you are travelling by car. A modern hotel, well equipped, very clean, ample parking, large rooms well maintained and with super friendly young staff.

Comfortable & friendly

Very noisy, next to a large road, and all the plumbing is very noisy, you hab hear erverbody flushing
