This is a great guesthouse for the price, the room is spacious and clean and has a fan and air con (which doesn’t work great) the view from your private balcony is beautiful and nice to be out of the chaos of town. 

A highlight for us was the breakfast service. Due to no reception or common area they will ask your breakfast order the day before for your chosen time and bring it to your room to eat on your balcony. It was such a nice touch and it was always delicious. 

My only issue was that there was no WiFi. I know WiFi isn’t essential but this was our first few days in the Philippines and we really rely on WiFi to do research and plan so we had to go into town to find bars that had it which wasn’t ideal. 

Cheap and cheerful 

The inn offers the view of Corong-corong Beach. I love to keep the sliding door open so the breeze can come in. The owners are all very kind.

They rent a bike and offered us pick up service to go to the airport. But the qualities of both the bike and the car were not that comfortable

Beautiful view

A bit away from the actual El Nido village this is in the townpart Corrong Corrong, but a much more quiet option.
Its a few stories high, so dont mind climbing up with your luggage.
Breakfast was brought to our room every morning and was coffee/tea and some toast, fruit and a pancake or egg. Good enough.
The owner is kind and eager to book you a tour (which gives him a small fee offcourse) but you never get any receipt and just hope he really made the call.  And he did, the next morning, just before pick up time.

The only downside here is that, after a long day out, returning, they dont sell drinks.
They have a fridge full, but they dont sell it.
So you have to go out to buy a cold beer or water along the road somewhere.
Thats weird right?

Why dont they sell drinks?

We didn’t stay at the hostel but booked private tour A, C and D with them. The service and boat were outstanding and the tour guides were super friendly. We recommend this company for private tours in El Nido.

Best private tour

We had an okay stay, rooms are on the large side and have a nice view of the sea, breakfast is okay (they just bring pancakes and an omelette to your room). Staff weren't overly friendly and wouldn't go out of their way to help you, wi-fi works but isn't particularly fast so don't expect to be able to download or stream large files. Lastly the location provides a good view although is pretty far from anywhere so you have to use a tricycle (around 40-50 peso to El Nido town.

Bang average

Room was clean and location was convenient considering we were heading on the Tao expedition the following day. It's quite far out from anything if you're staying there for longer through. 

We needed to do some admin before we left on our trip and the hotel hadn't paid its wifi bill so there was none. Staff were unwilling to help with anything and very rude. Before we left the following morning, breakfast arrived and it was all cold- I ordered scrambled eggs. Very disappointing and would not go back.
